    Abstract: A method and circuit is provided for reducing power consumption in a power transformer, typically incorporated into an electrical or electronic device such as a consumer device. In an embodiment, a detection/isolation circuit is coupled to an input of a power transformer/rectifier via a switching device. The switching device can be, for example, a solid state relay. The detection/isolation circuit is configured to sense the occurrence of no-load conditions in the power transformer and responsively disengage the power transformer from a coupled source of power (e.g., wall outlet) via the coupled switching device.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for pupil detection are described. First light is emitted from a first light source at a first illumination angle relative to the axis of a detector. Second light is emitted from a second light source at a second illumination angle relative to the axis. The first light and the second light can have substantially equal intensities. The second illumination angle is greater than the first illumination angle. Reflected first light and reflected second light are received at the detector. The difference between the reflected first light and the reflected second light can be determined. The difference can be used to detect the pupils of a subject's eyes.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for en-face imaging using multiple wavelengths are described. In general, an imaging system receives light reflected from a sample under test and distinguishes between reflected light at a first wavelength and reflected light at a second wavelength. Images at both wavelengths are collected simultaneously. En-face images are output using en-face image data corresponding to the first wavelength and en-face image data corresponding to the second wavelength.
