Abstract: A method of conducting an online competitive price quoting event for at least one commodity includes storing event, commodity data, supplier data, historical data, a default currency, and a preferred currency into the at least one data table. An event token, which grants access authorization to agents representing the plurality of suppliers, is assigned to the event and is provided to the suppliers. A bid entry screen is displayed to the agents. An actual bid from the agent is compared to the current winning bid and a current minimum bid. A minimum bid from the agent is compared to the current winning bid and a current minimum bid. A current winner and a current winning bid are then determined. The bid entry screen is updated with the current winning bid, and each entry is color coded to reflect the current status of the agent's bids.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to compile heterogeneous data, regardless of origin, into a single, unified system, which provides customers with the ability to control the process for managing their data for viewing, categorizing/cataloging/classifying, annotating, converting, storing and exporting their data according to their own specifications. One embodiment includes: providing a user interface to a customer; receiving a plurality of heterogeneous digital files from the customer; receiving, via the user interface, a query specification from the customer to select a subset of the digital files according to the query specification; receiving, via the user interface, input to manage a workflow for review of the subset of digital files; receiving, via the user interface, input data related to the review of the subset of digital files; and generating a version of the subset of digital files based on the received input data related to the review of the subset of digital files.

Abstract: A nipple assembly for a nursing bottle includes a nipple having a slit at the bottom of a concave depression in its tip acting as a fluid outlet valve. The nipple includes a flange seated on the rim of the bottle and held in place by a cap having a central opening through which the nipple extends. A threaded ring on the cap engages the threaded bottle neck with the outer circumferential edge of the nipple's flange compressed between the annular top and the rim of the bottle. The nipple flange includes vent apertures between its inner and outer circumferential edges, and a raised annular bead between its inner circumferential edge and the aperture. The annular bead provides a seal between flange and the cap that prevents fluid from leaking out the vent apertures when air pressure within the bottle is not substantially lower than ambient air pressure.

Next, provided metadata corresponding to the electronic copy of the article does not exist, the present embodiment creates metadata corresponding to the electronic copy of the article. Provided that the electronic copy of the article can not be located within the electronic document system, the present invention deletes any metadata corresponding to the electronic copy of the article.
