Publication number: 20240166364Abstract: A monitoring system includes a movable surface of an aircraft, an actuation system for the movable surface of an aircraft including actuators, a first position sensor adapted to measure a position of a first actuator of the actuators and a second position sensor adapted to measure a position of a second actuator of the actuators. The monitoring system also includes a first force sensor adapted to measure forces passing through the first actuator of the actuators and a second force sensor of the at least two force sensors being adapted to measure forces passing through the second actuator of the actuators. The monitoring system also includes a calculator configured to detect skew of the movable surface and excess force passing through the first and/or second actuator from the position obtained by the at least two position sensors and the force measured by the at least two force sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Paul MOREAU, Julien HAUTECOEUR

Patent number: 11181073Abstract: An actuator includes a screw mounted on a body to pivot, a nut connected to an element for moving, and that is engaged on the screw to be moved between an over-retracted first position and a deployed second position on either side of a retracted third position that is spaced apart from the over-retracted position by a distance corresponding to the screw rotating through a first angular sector and an anti-extension device comprising a friction disk having at least one smooth surface and an obstacle both for co-operating with at least one pawl, thereby defining both at least one second angular sector of free rotation for the friction disk and also a position for blocking the friction disk.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2018Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Assignee: SAFRAN ELECTRONICS & DEFENSEInventors: Mickael Werquin, Julien Hautecoeur, Christophe Bastide, Pascal Omnes

Patent number: 11168645Abstract: An actuation device for a thrust reverser includes thrust-reversal movable elements carried by a nacelle and displaceable between a retracted and deployed position. The actuating device includes two actuators mounted on the nacelle and connected to a motor and to the movable elements. The actuation device drives the movable elements in a retraction or deployment direction over a course of the actuators between the retracted and deployed position. The actuation device further includes locks for locking the movable elements in the retracted position and antideployment members associated with the actuators which allow free operation of the actuators in the direction of retraction and retain the actuators in the direction of deployment. The antideployment bodies further provide free operation of the actuators in the direction of deployment over part of the actuators stroke that corresponds to a shift from an over-retraction position to the retraction position of the movable elements.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2019Date of Patent: November 9, 2021Assignees: Safran Nacelles, Safran Electronics & DefenseInventors: Hakim Maalioune, Julien Corbin, Jean-Philippe Joignet, Julien Hautecoeur, Yvon Joncour, Jean-Michel Figuet

Patent number: 10982720Abstract: A device (1) for connecting an end of a first shaft to an end of a second shaft, the end of the first shaft having a radial groove. The device includes a body (2) having a bore (21) into which the end of the first shaft can be introduced, a locking pin (3) movable with respect to the body (2) between a locked position, in which the pin (3) projects into the bore (21) such that, when the end of the first shaft is received inside the bore (21), the locking pin (3) is engaged in the radial groove in the end of the first shaft, and an unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the locking pin (3) is disengaged from the radial groove in the end of the first shaft, and an elastic return member (4) urges the locking pin (3) into the locked position.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2018Date of Patent: April 20, 2021Assignee: SAFRAN ELECTRONICS & DEFENSEInventors: Julien Hautecoeur, Mathieu Rousselet, Vincent Pascal

Publication number: 20200378447Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for connecting an end of a first shaft to an end of a second shaft, the end of the first shaft having a radial groove, the device comprising:—a body (2) having a bore (21) into which the end of the first shaft can be introduced,—a locking pin (3) mounted so as to be movable with respect to the body (2) between a locked position, in which the pin (3) projects into the bore (21) such that, when the end of the first shaft is received inside the bore (21), the locking pin (3) is engaged in the radial groove in the end of the first shaft in order to prevent the end of the first shaft from being removed from the bore (21), and an unlocked position, in which the locking pin (3) is disengaged from the radial groove in the end of the first shaft so as to allow the end of the first shaft to be introduced into the bore (21) or to allow the end of the first shaft to be removed from the bore (21), and—an elastic return member (4) for urging the locking pin (3) into the locked positionType: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2018Publication date: December 3, 2020Inventors: Julien HAUTECOEUR, Mathieu ROUSSELET, Vincent PASCAL

Patent number: 10605199Abstract: A lockable actuator includes: a body; a screw for pivoting relative to the body; a nut engaged on the screw so as to move along the screw between an over-retracted first position and a deployed second position on opposite sides of a retracted third position; a sleeve constrained to rotate with the screw and slidably mounted thereon in order to be moved by the nut; and an obstacle secured to the sleeve and a pawl capable of passing collectively between an active state and an inactive state, the pawl and the obstacle being arranged in such a manner that the pawl in its active state can co-operate with the obstacle only after the nut has been moved through a predetermined distance from its third position towards its second position.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2018Date of Patent: March 31, 2020Assignee: SAFRAN ELECTRONICS & DEFENSEInventors: Mickael Werquin, Julien Hautecoeur, Christophe Bastide, Pascal Omnes
