  • Publication number: 20210069443
Abstract: The invention relates to a medical ventilator (1) comprising an external housing (2), and a rigid exoskeleton structure (3) arranged around the external housing (2) and rigidly connected thereto. The rigid exoskeleton structure (3) comprises a plurality of elongate elements (4) defining a volume (5) in which the external housing (2) is housed, the greater part of the rigid exoskeleton structure (3) being spaced (7) from said external housing (2) when said external housing (2) is housed in the volume (5). A carrying handle (9) is also provided, allowing a user to manually grasp the exoskeleton structure (3) and transport the assembly (1, 3) composed of ventilator and exoskeleton structure.

  • Publication number: 20140371957
Abstract: A method for diagnosis of a loss of control of an aircraft comprises the steps: loading raw data; loading parameters of the aircraft; computing a plurality of reference data comprising a preprocessing comprising for at least one reference datum a sub-step of computing a phase advance term; determining the characteristic thresholds indicative of loss of control; detecting at least one type of loss of control by comparing the reference data with characteristic thresholds; and, when at least one type of loss of control is detected: identifying the type of priority loss of control corresponding to the type of loss of control exhibiting the highest priority level, and communicating the type of priority loss of control to a crew.

  • Publication number: 20130142213
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for controlling the corrosion of a concrete structure, in which said structure includes at least one sensor comprising a metal element located at a determined depth between the surface of the concrete and the first reinforcement bed, said process including the measurement of the corrosion of said metal element by implementing: the induction heating of said metal element, by applying magnetic excitation above the surface of the structure, the production of at least one thermographic image of the surface of the structure, and the deduction, on the basis of the thermographic image, of the degree of corrosion of the metal element. The invention also relates to a process for producing a concrete structure, in which at least one sensor including a metal element is placed in the concrete in order to subsequently implement said corrosion inspection process.

  • Patent number: 8215172
Abstract: The invention relates to the determination of the dynamic elastic modulus of a material, such as a material comprising a mineral binder like cement, or gypsum, or the like, or a polymer, or ceramic, preferably mortar or concrete, in particular shotcrete, using sound, preferably ultrasound waves which penetrate the material and are continuously measured and analyzed. In particular, the invention relates to an apparatus, to a measuring device, and to a method for determining the dynamic elastic modulus of a material using the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20080091368
Abstract: A method for determining the autocorrelation function q(?) of an optical signal, including the steps of: determining the times (ti) of occurrence of pulses corresponding to photons: calculating, for a predetermined set of pulses (w), the function s(w)=?ie?jwti, where e?jwti=coswti+jsinwti, the summing-up being performed over all the received pulses determining square S(w) of the module of function s(w), and calculating the Fourier transform g(?) of power spectrum S(w) for a predetermined set of time interval values.
