  • Patent number: 11523716
Abstract: A dispenser assembly designed to tangentially dispense a sheet from a roll of sheet material including sheet material formed from two webs, each web having lines of weakness positioned transversely across the web which allows the web to be separated into a plurality of sheets, the lines of weakness of one web being offset from those of the other web. The dispenser assembly includes (1) a base arranged to hold the roll of sheet material and to couple the dispenser assembly with an environment structure; (2) a first roller and a counter roller between which the sheet material is movable towards a dispensing outlet; and (3) a cradle arranged to support the roll of sheet material and to unwind the sheet material towards the first roller whatever a consumption level of the roll of sheet material.

  • Patent number: 11246461
Abstract: A sheet product dispenser for dispensing a strip of a sheet product from a static center-feed coreless roll of sheet product is disclosed. The roll includes a central cavity. The dispenser includes a container for accommodating the roll, and a dispensing piece which protrudes toward an interior of the container from one end of the container and which includes a guidance between a receiving opening for receiving the strip of sheet product from the roll and a dispensing opening for dispensing the strip of sheet product outside of the dispenser. The dispensing piece is arranged to engage into the central cavity of the roll. The dispensers provide a dispensing opening so that withdrawal of a sheet product is facilitated by avoiding collapsing or clogging. Furthermore, the dispenser has a compact configuration that gains space during delivery and transportation.

  • Patent number: 9687125
Abstract: A sheet product dispenser includes a housing for accommodating a source of a sheet product and a dispenser opening for dispensing the sheet product. The dispenser opening is provided in a rotatable dispensing member. Rotation of the rotatable dispensing member is restricted to one rotating axis. The dispenser opening is offset from the rotating axis of the rotatable member. Rotation of the rotatable dispensing member results from a lateral force applied by a pulled sheet product strip onto the dispenser opening such that the dispenser opening moves as far as possible into a pulling direction so as to minimize an angle between the pulling direction and a dispensing direction of the dispenser opening.

  • Patent number: 9648994
Abstract: A dispenser assembly for dispensing a sheet from a roll of sheet material, which defines a cavity extending longitudinally, includes: a roll holder for removably holding the roll of sheet material being free to rotate relative to the roll holder; a base for supporting the roll holder and for coupling the dispenser assembly with an environment structure; and a pair of coupling elements including a first element coupled to the roll of sheet material and a second element integral to the roll holder. The first element is coupled in a free to rotate and removable manner relative to the second element by magnetic coupling. The first element includes a longitudinally extending engaging portion which is arranged to at least partially engage with an end portion of the cavity of the roll of sheet material so that the first element is fixedly secured to the roll of sheet material.

  • Publication number: 20170037579
Abstract: A sheet of absorbent material having opposite sheet side edges spaced apart from one another to define an overall width of the absorbent sheet, the sheet of absorbent material including zones of weakness spaced along the sheet of absorbent material according to a machine direction, each zone of weakness extending substantially transversally to said machine direction, each zone of weakness defining two adjacent individual absorbent sheet portions, each zone of weakness being a tear line. The tear line comprises two edge regions and a central region, a first edge region beginning at one of the sheet side edges towards the central region, a second edge region beginning at the other sheet side edges towards the central region, the central region including alternating perforated segments and unperforated segments. The edge regions are unperforated so as to constitute attachment areas within the tear line between two adjacent individual absorbent sheet portions.

  • Patent number: 9409745
Abstract: A core intended to be used as a support for a roll of paper, especially toilet paper, is formed by winding at least one strip made of tissue, the strip being impregnated, at least locally, with starch so as to improve its stiffness. Thus configured, a core is provided having both a mechanical strength suitable for the envisaged use and a greatly improved ability to disintegrate relative to a cardboard core so as to allow it to be able to be disposed of directly in a toilet bowl without risk of blocking the soil pipe.

  • Patent number: 8802211
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a web of sheet product, with a discontinuous perforation arrangement such that manufacture of a web of sheet product provides for an increase in the breaking strength of the web of sheet product while feeding the web in a machine direction, thereby reducing the risk of breaking and maintaining the yield and throughput of the production of the perforated web as an intermediate product, yet providing a low breaking force for individual strips produced from the web.

  • Patent number: 8181899
Abstract: A dispenser, for dispensing a wound dry sheet of paper (F) made of tissue paper, comprising: a cylindrical body; support elements, lying approximately in the same plane P, for resting the dispenser on a horizontal plane; a slot in the cylindrical body for the sheet of paper (F) to exit; a guiding element for guiding the sheet of paper (F) outside the cylinder, associated with said slot, comprising two mutually parallel planes. According to the invention, the two planes are curved, in that the distance E between them is greater than twice the thickness Ep of the sheet of paper (F) and in that the length L of the guiding element, measured along the direction of pay-out of the paper, is equal to or greater than twice a minimum length Lm.

  • Publication number: 20110031264
Abstract: A dispensing system for dispensing cut lengths of a strip of paper includes a box configured to contain the cut lengths of a strip of paper. The box is made of semi-rigid material that dispenses individual cut lengths through a dispensing slot, the cut lengths of a strip of paper being made up of cut lengths held together by joins, and the dispensing slot being narrower in width than a width of the strip of paper. The box includes a guide means for guiding the strip of paper, the guide means being formed of two wall elements forming a narrow space through which the strip of paper is guided and held in contact with as far as the dispensing slot, the narrow space being formed by folding a panel of the box about a fold line in which the dispensing slot is formed.
