  • Patent number: 11931551
Abstract: A medical injection system adapted for a single-handed injection, the medical injection device comprising a gas compartment configured to contain a gas, the gas compartment comprising a piston, a reservoir intended to contain a drug composition, the reservoir having a proximal portion and a distal portion provided with a fluid exit configured to receive an injection needle, wherein the piston can move proximally between a distal position defining a first volume of the gas compartment to a proximal position defining a second volume of the gas compartment smaller than the first volume, and wherein the gas compartment is in gas communication with the reservoir in order to force the drug composition through the fluid exit, when the piston is moved proximally.

  • Patent number: 10979363
Abstract: Techniques for resegmenting a partition in a distributed stream-processing platform are provided. The techniques include receiving a trigger to move a partition of the distributed stream-processing platform from a first broker on a first set of physical resources to a second broker on a second a set of physical resources. In response to the trigger, the partition is allocated on the second broker, and the first broker is configured to redirect, to the second broker, requests for new messages after a last offset in the partition without replicating older messages before the last offset to the second broker. Idempotent produce metadata for the partition from the first broker is then merged into the second broker. Finally, metadata for processing requests for the partition is updated to include the second broker.

  • Publication number: 20200353090
Abstract: The invention relates to new prodrugs of active molecules. These prodrugs allow, in particular, the subcutaneous or intramuscular administration of active molecules of which the subcutaneous or intramuscular administration is problematic or impossible, in particular because of the toxicity at the injection site. The prodrugs according to the invention comprise an active ingredient, covalently linked with a polymer chain, preferably a hydrophilic and/or thermosensitive polymer chain. The invention relates, in particular, to polymeric prodrugs comprising a polymer chain formed at least in part by acrylamide monomer or one of its derivatives, the polymer comprising a proximal part and a terminal part; a first pharmaceutically active molecule covalently coupled to the proximal part of the polymer; possibly a second pharmaceutically active molecule covalently coupled to the terminal part of the polymer.

  • Patent number: 8839081
Abstract: Provided are devices, systems and methods for rate matching and de-rate matching on digital signal processors. In one embodiment, a device for rate matching and de-rate matching, includes an interface for receiving a plurality of blocks of data and digital signal processor configured to pre-compute permutation parameters common to the plurality of blocks, wherein the plurality of blocks are subject to a set of given puncturing parameters and receive a set of pre-computed puncturing thresholds. For one or more blocks in the plurality of blocks, the DSP computes a block signature from the pre-computed puncturing thresholds; matches the block signature to one of a set of pre-computed zone signatures, derives a zone index corresponding to the one pre-computed zone signature, and applies pre-computed permutation and puncturing transformations corresponding to the zone index to the block.

  • Patent number: 7664198
Abstract: A system and method for broadcasting content data to a plurality of mobile devices. The content data is arranged into data blocks, and each data block is broadcast using an initial set of rateless transmission symbols. Mobile devices that did not receive a sufficient number of initial symbols respond with a no acknowledgment (“NACK”) message, and a NACK rate for the broadcast system is monitored. Responsive to the NACK rate, additional symbols may be broadcast or otherwise transmitted to mobile devices, and, the NACK rate is used to determine when to terminate transmission of additional symbols for a particular data block. An initial set of symbols for the next data block may be transmitted concurrently with the additional symbols for one or more previous data blocks. The NACK rate may also be used as feedback to the broadcast system to adjust the transmission scheme.

  • Publication number: 20070297358
Abstract: A wireless communications device having a localized preferred roaming list (WLANL), the WLANL having location specific WLAN AP information associated with it. A mobile wireless device uses the information in the WLANL to manage active searches for WLAN APs. In addition, the WLANL information can be used to mange active sessions, enabling a switch from one air interface to another depending on which air interface is currently the most reliable, has bandwidth available, or other considerations.
