Abstract: A method is provided for managing memory in a mobile communication terminal suitable for processing information representing a multimedia scene that comes in the form of a multimedia content having multimedia elements. The method includes a step of receiving the multimedia scene and the following steps that are implemented simultaneously: a step of rendering the scene in continuous or progressive loading mode on the terminal; and a step of storing a portion of the multimedia content representing the multimedia scene, the portion being pre-identified in the multimedia content.

Abstract: A method is provided for creating at least one multimedia scene intended to be restored on a mobile radio communication terminal. The multimedia scene includes a plurality of multimedia objects organized in the form of at least one scene description tree. Such a method includes the following steps: associating with the scene description tree(s) a sub-tree of the objects to be restored, including objects intended to be restored at a given instant, and a standby sub-tree, including objects intended not to be restored at the given instance; identifying at least one object, termed the transferable object, that can be transferred from a first of the sub-trees to the second of the sub-trees as a function of at least one predetermined transfer condition.

Abstract: A method is provided for optimization of the management of a server cache for dynamic pages, which may be consulted by client terminals with differing characteristics which requires the provision of discrete versions of a dynamic page in the cache. When a terminal requests a dynamic page, a verification step—for the presence of at least one version of the dynamic page in the cache is carried out, such that if the verification is positive the following complementary steps are carried out: procurement of a set of characteristics specific to the type of client terminal, determination of a subset of necessary characteristics from amongst the specific characteristics for the reproduction of the dynamic page on a client terminal, search, among the version(s) of the dynamic page in the cache for a suitable version using the subset of necessary characteristics and allocation of the suitable version to the client terminal.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling the interface of a plurality of types of radiocommunications terminals. The method includes defining a set of abstract events, each of which correspond to a predefined interface-independent generic and functional interaction, such as for a given type of terminal, associating concrete events available and/or executable on the terminal to at least certain abstract events in such a way that it makes it possible to develop an application independently of the interface specificities of each type of terminal and to homogeneously carry out all applications developed with the aid of abstract events on a given terminal.
