Abstract: An approach to facilitating in-vehicle-services-related tracking of passengers is provided. A first set of information relating to a first carrier and a second set of information relating to a second carrier that is different from the first carrier may be obtained. The first set of information may include first identification information and one or more first trip details. The second set of information may include second identification information and one or more second trip details. The first set of information may be determined to relate to a first trip of a particular passenger with the first carrier. The second set of information may be determined to relate to a second trip of the particular passenger with the second carrier. Preference information of the particular passenger may be determined based on the one or more trip details and the one or more second trip details.

Abstract: An approach to facilitating provisioning of in-vehicle services is provided. Trip-identifying information may be obtained from a user-provided device. The trip-identifying information may identify a trip that is to occur on the vehicle. A list of in-vehicle services, which are available for the trip on the vehicle, may be determined based on the trip-identifying information. The list of in-vehicle services may be provided to the user-provided device. A selection of at least one in-vehicle service that is to be provided during the trip may be received from the user-provided device. A request for the at least one in-vehicle service may be generated based on the selection.

In one implementation, one or more communication sessions with the in-vehicle computer system may be facilitated by an attendant device. Passenger information relating to one or more passengers of a vehicle and service information relating to one or more services to be provided to the one or more passengers may be obtained by the attendant device from the in-vehicle computer system via the one or more communication sessions. The passenger information and the service information may be provided by the attendant device. An indication that at least one service is in progress or is complete is received by the attendant device.
