  • Patent number: 11151877
Abstract: A cooperative intelligent traffic system is provided for use between bicycles, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Sensor data from mobile devices and other sensor devices associated with the vehicle can be sent to an edge network computing device (e.g., a multi-access edge computing device) and be processed at the edge network to identify threats and hazards, and then transmit the threat assessment data to other bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles nearby. The threat assessment data can be used by the operators of the other vehicles to warn them of upcoming threats, hazards, road conditions, and other pertinent conditions.

  • Patent number: 11138098
Abstract: A prioritized list of recommended disk images is created by providing software artifacts associated with a virtual network function that has access to a set of system libraries. Validation tests for the software artifacts are provided in the virtual network function is instantiated. The validation tests are run in the call invocations from the virtual network function to the set of system libraries is monitored. The system call invocations generated by the validation tests are analyzed and a list of required libraries based on system call invocations generated by the validation test is created. A list of recommended disk images with performance metrics are created and communicated to a developer.

  • Publication number: 20210018630
Abstract: Selective broadcast of corrective vehicle positioning information using a hyper-precise-positioning (HPP) proxy is presented herein. A system can obtain satellite navigation correction data; assign respective portions of the satellite navigation correction data to defined geographical regions to facilitate respective point-to-multipoint wireless broadcasts of the respective portions of the satellite navigation correction data to respective vehicles that have been determined to be located within the defined geographical regions; and distribute, via respective signaling planes, broadcast requests comprising the respective portions of the satellite navigation correction data to respective wireless access point devices to facilitate the respective point-to-multipoint wireless broadcasts of the respective portions of the satellite navigation correction data—such satellite navigation correction data facilitating correction of satellite navigation data that has been received by the respective vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20200409910
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, segmenting a file to obtain a set of segments, wherein the file can be regenerated according to a recombination of the set of segments. At least some segments are transported to a targeted group of users including a first group of users and a second group of users, via unlicensed frequency spectrum and according to a peer-to-peer file sharing process. A segmentation record identifying the set of segments is provided to the targeted group of users. A progress of a delivery of the set of segments is monitored according to the segmentation record. The progress of the delivery is analyzed to identify a deficiency in delivery of a particular segment of the set of segments. Responsive to the deficiency, the particular segment is provided to the first group of users via a licensed frequency spectrum. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10374762
Abstract: Utilization of unused bandwidth or underused bandwidth via radio access resource sharing is disclosed. Unused bandwidth for a physical channel between a network device and a MU MIMO access point can be combined with bandwidth from another physical channel into a logical channel. The logical channel can have increased bandwidth over the constituent physical channels. Whereas MU MIMO technology can facilitate concurrent data transfer, a UE can communicate data across the several physical channels of the logical channel concurrently. Moreover, the different access point locations can provide spatial diversity such that the plurality of access points can function as a logical MU MIMO access point employing interference to selectively serve a UE location via the logical channel. Logical channels can also be predicted based on supplementary information that can comprise historical network resource usage and/or utilization data.

  • Patent number: 10225772
Abstract: Mobility management for wireless communication networks is provided. A method can include determining, by a device comprising a processor, expected utilities respectively for a group of network actions on behalf of a user equipment in a communication network based on an observed state of network devices of the communication network, selecting, by the device, a network action from the group of network actions having at least a threshold expected utility, resulting in a selected network action, determining, by the device, an adjustment parameter for the selected network action based on a conformity of the selected network action to a network policy applicable to the communication network, and based on the adjustment parameter, adjusting, by the device, an expected utility of the expected utilities corresponding to the selected network action to account for the observed state of the network devices of the communication network.
