In one embodiment, a method includes detecting a first position sensor signal, the first position sensor signal detected by a first sensor, and detecting a second position sensor signal, the second position sensor signal detected by a second sensor, wherein the second position sensor signal is based on position of the second sensor relative to the first sensor. The method may further include generating a control signal for a device based on the first and second position sensor signals, wherein the first and second position sensor signals are generated based on user positing of the first and second sensors. The method may further include transmitting the control signal to the device.

The oil pump can be driven by the driving power of the engine to supply oil to the clutch mechanism and the torque converter to operate them. The flow control device can be configured to limit or prevent the supply of oil to the torque converter by the oil pump and to prioritize the supply of oil to the clutch mechanism when the engine is restarted by the engine control device after the idle-stopped condition.
