  • Patent number: 7606871
Abstract: A virtualizing file system view method for virtualizing one or more network storage devices into a virtualized file system view network storage system wherein destination network storage information of stored files is compactly held regardless of the number of files, and files are separated into one or more file groups and the file groups managed in destination network storage units. Until now, managing network storage unit information in individual files was necessary however the virtualizing file system view method reduces the management information that must be held and efficiently utilizes network storage capacity without holding destination network storage information in individual files. The cost of rewriting information is also lowered during structural changes such as adding or deleting network storage units since storage destination network information can be rewritten in file groups.

  • Patent number: 7604688
Abstract: An antiallergen filter of the present invention is characterized in that a water-insoluble high-molecular weight anti-allergenic agent having a phenolic hydroxyl group and a moisture-absorbing material are carried on a filter. Because of using the water-insoluble high-molecular weight substance as an anti-allergenic agent, the antiallergen filter of the present invention is free from a problem that the anti-allergenic agent flows and drops or is detached from the filter due to moisture in the atmosphere, etc. even in a highly humid environment or the like. Further, since the moisture-absorbing material is carried on the filter, moisture that the anti-allergenic agent requires for adsorbing and capturing an allergen and inactivating its allergic activity can be effectively retained on the filter. Thus, the antiallergen filter of the present invention can effectively exert its anti-allergenic effect over a prolonged period of time.

  • Publication number: 20090257401
Abstract: The present invention provides a new technique, according to which inefficient and redundant routing can be eliminated, which may occur when the fast handover is applied to network mobility and which may cause delay. According to this technique, a mobile router (MR) 210 makes the mobile node grasp the care-of address of the mobile router by performing route optimization to and from the mobile node (MN) 130 connected to the mobile network under its control. When the mobile node performs handover to another access network by fast handover, the mobile router tunnels a packet by using own care-of address as a source address—i.e. the packet, which has been sent from a correspondent node (CN) 140 and which is to be sent to an address before the handover of the mobile node (old care-of address)—and the packet is directly forwarded to the mobile node without passing through the home agent of the mobile router.

  • Publication number: 20090257159
Abstract: A short circuit protection circuit which readily recovers a relay drive circuit to an output operation state after a short circuit is cancelled while preventing the relay drive circuit from being damaged by a short circuit. The relay drive circuit outputs a drive current to a load in accordance with a first control signal. A short circuit detection circuit detects the occurrence of a short circuit at an output side of the relay drive circuit and suspends output operation of the relay drive circuit when a short circuit occurs. Further, the short circuit detection circuit intermittently transmits a recovery signal to the relay drive circuit in a certain time interval after a predetermined time elapses from when the short circuit occurs to recover the output operation of the relay drive circuit. The time interval is gradually increased whenever the recovery signal is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20090258600
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus is capable of increasing data capacity that can be transmitted and reducing power consumption by reducing the amount of control signal to be transmitted, and capable of increasing system capacity by reducing interference with respect to other wireless communication apparatuses. In this apparatus, control information extraction section (105) extracts information indicating the number of CQI's contained in control information. Reception quality measuring sections (113-1 to 113-n) measure reception quality of each sub-carrier within a communication band. CQI generating section (114) generates CQI's for some of the sub-carriers of superior reception quality within the communication band. Multiplexer (122) multiplexes CQI's, sub-carrier number information generating the CQI's, and ACK signals or NACK signals.
