  • Patent number: 7286350
Abstract: A fluid guiding device (1) includes a ventilating pipe (10), a barrel (20) and a holding frame (30). The ventilating pipe includes two spring levers (154). A handling tab (156) and an engaging tab (158) extend from a free end of each spring lever, respectively outwardly and inwardly. The barrel forms two jagged members (262) thereon. Each jagged member forms a plurality of parallel teeth (264). The engaging tabs are selectively engaged with corresponding teeth respectively to position the barrel to the ventilating pipe when the barrel is moved to a desired location in the ventilating pipe. The engaging tabs escape from teeth by pulling the handling tabs outwardly to allow the barrel to be movable on the ventilating pipe. The holding frame is secured to the barrel for holding a fluid-driving device thereon.

  • Patent number: 7284367
Abstract: The ignition timing is sustained at an initial value during a predetermined time beginning at a start of an engine, and is retarded after the predetermined time is elapsed to heat a catalyst at an early time. The predetermined time ends when the negative pressure of an intake pipe or the negative pressure of a brake booster reaches to a predetermined value. That is, the predetermined time is a period, which begins at a start of the engine and ends when a proper negative pressure can be sustained in the brake booster. As a result, it is possible to assure a negative pressure in the brake booster at an early time and to reduce exhaust emission at a start of the engine simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 7286187
Abstract: There is disclosed an adaptive de-interlacing method and apparatus based on a phase corrected field of an input interlaced picture signal, and a recording medium storing computer programs for executing the method. The method includes: generating a phase corrected kth field by compensating a phase of the kth field of the input interlaced picture signal by 1 line frequency; calculating a first motion vector between the phase corrected kth field and the (k?1)th field of the interlaced picture signal; calculating a second motion vector between the (k?1)th field and the (k+1)th field of the interlaced picture signal; and determining whether there is motion of the input picture based on the first and second motion vector values, and generating a kth progressive frame based on the result and the kth field. Thus, a serration phenomenon is minimized after de-interlacing by more exactly detecting the motion information of a corresponding inserted field.

  • Patent number: 7286831
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of balancing a load and method of setting up a call using the load balancing method in a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network, which prevents a load from concentrating on a specific Gateway GPRS Supporting Node (GGSN) in the GPRS network, thus reducing a probability of failure in session establishment due to increased traffic. In the load balancing method, when a Service GPRS Supporting Node (SGSN) connected to a mobile node establishes a session, it selects a GGSN having a smallest number of established sessions among a plurality of GGSNs corresponding to an Access Point Name (APN) included in an Activate PDP Context Request message received from the mobile node and requests the selected GGSN to establish a session, thus solving a problem in which a load concentrates on a specific GGSN.
