  • Patent number: 8040309
Abstract: A display panel with image sticking elimination circuit is provided. The image sticking elimination circuit can be applied in a display unit comprising a plurality of pixel units driven by a gate driving circuit and a data driving circuit. The gate driving circuit is driven by a first voltage and a second voltage. The first voltage turns on the pixel units for receiving data signals and the second voltage turns off the pixel units for preventing the pixel units from receiving data signals. A switch is coupled between a data line driven by the data driving circuit and an ESD circuit. The image sticking elimination circuit is charged by the first voltage and the charged power is output to turn on the switch and the pixel units when abnormal power shut down occurs.

  • Patent number: 7910564
Abstract: The present invention relates to the IL-12p40 subunit mutant gene which can produce IL-12 (interleukin 12) of human and mouse origin with high activity, the expression vector including above mutant gene and the use of them to DNA vaccine adjuvant. Particularly, it relates to IL-12p40 mutant gene which inhibits the secretion of IL-12p40 but normally secretes active IL- 12p70 by making mutation at Asn-222 (human) or Asn- 220 (mouse) amino acid of IL-12p40, which acts as a competitive inhibitor of active form of IL-12, IL-12p70. Therefore, the IL-12p40 mutant gene of the present invention can be useful for DNA vaccination and gene therapy against various diseases, for example, AIDS, hepatitis C or hepatitis B, cancer, influenza, tuberculosis and malaria, which essentially require cellular immune responses for their therapy.

Abstract: A method and device enables notifying a location services client that a target terminal is unreachable. The method (400) includes receiving at a location server from the location services client a location reporting request message that requests information about the location of the target terminal (step 405). A positioning session is then established between the location server and the target terminal (step 410). It is then determined at the location server that a location report from the target terminal is overdue (step 420) and that the target terminal is unreachable (step 425). Finally, a notification message is transmitted from the location server to the location services client indicating that the target terminal is unreachable (step 430).
