The stainless steel powder has a chemical composition including, in % by mass: C: 0.20% or less; Si: 2.0% or less; Mn: 2.0% or less; P: 0.040% or less; S: 0.010% or less; Cr: 18.0 to 35.0%; Ni: 1.0% or less; Cu: 0.50 to 4.0%; Nb: 0.7 to 3.0%; Mo: 6.0% or less; W: 6.0% or less; N: 0.030% or less; and O: 0.10% or less, the balance being Fe and incidental impurities, and the composition satisfying the following inequality (1): (Mo+W)?2.0 (1) where Mo and W represent the contents (% by mass) of Mo and W, respectively.

Abstract: An additive manufacturing product including a steel matrix and ceramic particles dispersed in the steel matrix. The steel matrix has a chemical composition containing, in mass %, C: 0.030% or more and 0.800% or less, Si: 0.01% or more and 2.50% or less, Mn: 0.10% or more and 8.00% or less, P: 0.100% or less, S: 0.0200% or less, Al: 0.100% or less, N: 0.1000% or less, and O: 0.5000% or less, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurity. The steel matrix has a steel microstructure where area fraction of pores is 0.50% or less, area fraction of martensite in a region excluding pores is 90% or more, average aspect ratio of prior austenite grains is 1.5 or more, and LHA/L is 2.0 or more. Melting point of the ceramic particles is 2000° C. or more.
