The adhesive member may be on the display panel. The transparent member may be positioned on the adhesive member. The shielding member may be located beneath a lower surface of the transparent member in a peripheral region. The phase retardation layer may be located between the display panel and the adhesive member. The linearly polarizing layer may be located between the adhesive member and the transparent member. The linearly polarizing layer may be partially overlapped with the shielding member.
