Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to prevent screen flicker when the screen of an on-board electronic mirror changes at a high speed, and to provide optimal information to a user. An on-board electronic minor (10), which is mounted on a vehicle, is provided with: a camera (100) for capturing images of the periphery of the vehicle; a video signal processing circuit (101) for processing the video captured by the camera (100); a monitor (105) for displaying the images processed by the video signal processing circuit (101); sensors (107-111) that are recounted on the vehicle and that detect an event during travel of the vehicle; and a video signal change circuit (103) and a video signal control circuit (112) that, on the basis of the detection results of the sensors (107-111), perform control for changing the video captured by the camera (100) to different video.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an operation unit that accepts an operation instruction; a printing unit that prints a document image on an image forming medium in accordance with the accepted operation instruction; a print-preview-image generating unit that generates a print preview image of the document image; a display unit that displays on a display screen the print preview image of the document image and an image of a medium frame showing edges of the image forming medium, the print preview image being superimposed on the image of the medium frame; and a control unit that, when a print preview image frame of the document image displayed on the display screen is operated to be moved, enlarges/reduces the print preview image of the document image in accordance with the amount of displacement of the print preview image frame and displays the enlarged/reduced print preview image.

Abstract: A displaying apparatus comprises a CRT capable of displaying picture elements of n rows by m columns and a VRAM (Video RAM). The VRAM comprises a CRT area having addresses of n rows by m columns identical to those of the CRT and a first and a second menu areas formed at both right and left sides of this CRT area. Display data of a formatted document is stored in the CRT area, being converted into a video signal to display an image of the formatted document by means of the CRT. To point a blank space of the formatted document, as cursor is further displayed on the CRT. When a menu display is required, the data of the required menu is stored in the first and the second menu areas, being converted into a video signal. A CPU decides the leading address of the VRAM to start the display so that the cursor and the menu are displayed simultaneously on the CRT screen. Thus, an erasure of the cursor from the CRT screen can be prevented even when the menu is displayed.
