  • Publication number: 20080079707
Abstract: First and second input/output circuits each have an input terminal connected to the input node. A first power supply wiring supplies a first voltage. A second power supply wiring supplies a second voltage. The first and second input/output circuits each select any one of the first and second power supply wirings, depending on the polarity of an input signal, to output an output signal. The first and second input/output circuits each have any one of a first characteristic in which an output signal having the same polarity as that of the input signal is output and a second characteristic in which an output signal having a polarity opposite to that of the input signal is output. The characteristics possessed by the first and second input/output circuits are different from each other.

  • Publication number: 20050134542
Abstract: In the present liquid crystal driving circuit, a parasitic transistor formed in a digital-to-analog converting circuit is prevented from being switched on. The driving circuit comprises a digital-to-analog converting circuit that (i) includes MOS transistors corresponding to digits of an inputted digital signal, wherein gate electrodes of the MOS transistors are mutually connected with wirings made of the same material as the gate electrodes, and a parasitic transistor is formed between those MOS transistors, and (ii) selects, in response to the inputted digital signal, one of reference voltages as a result of switching operations of the MOS transistors, and outputs the selected voltage so as to be applied to an LCD element; and a regulator circuit that regulates a digital signal so that the amplitude is smaller than an amplitude of a signal which makes the parasitic transistor switch on and outputs the regulated digital signal as the inputted digital signal.

  • Patent number: 5874935
Abstract: A driving circuit for the display apparatus having a plurality of output terminals includes a couple of selecting parts for selecting either a potential VDD2 or a potential VDD4 by control signals 221S, 222S, 231S and 2342S and then outputting said selected potentials as V1 and V2, respectively; and a plurality of output parts: say, one of the odd numbered output parts 202 having, in common with other odd numbered output parts, potentials VDD1 and VDD3 and said selected potential V1, and selecting one potential out of them by control signal 241S, 242S and 243S and outputting said selected next potential as a driving signal; one of the even numbered output parts 203 having, in common with other even numbered output parts, said potentials VDD1 and VDD3 and said selected potential V2, and selecting one potential out of them by control signal 251S, 252S, 253S and outputting said selected next potential as a driving signal.
