  • Publication number: 20150119757
Abstract: A coil body has high flexibility, satisfactorily tracks a complicated shape, and remarkably transmits fine vibrations occurring on a part of the coil body. A guide wire uses the coil body. The coil body is formed by helically winding a stranded wire including a plurality of stranded element wires. The stranded wire has a first gap as a hollow at the center of the stranded wire.

  • Publication number: 20150119861
Abstract: A guide wire has excellent flexibility of a distal portion thereof, followability for a blood vessel and the like and transmutability of delicate interactions such as resistance produced when the distal portion slides in contact with a wall surface of a blood vessel and the like, and resistance produced when the distal portion bumps against a stenosed section and the like. The guide wire has a core shaft and a coil body covering a distal portion of the core shaft, the coil body being formed by helically winding a stranded wire having three or more elemental wires interwound together, and the stranded wire being hollow and having a first void at the center thereof.

  • Patent number: 8702431
Abstract: A vascular stenosis model includes a stenosis region model and a transparent holding die including a groove that enables the stenosis region model to be held. The transparent holding die includes a first member and a second member that are separable from each other. In vertical sectional view of the transparent holding die, the groove is positioned at either an upper side or a lower side of a boundary between the first member and the second member.
