    Abstract: A micro-thrust and micro-impulse application device and method generates micro-thrust to a target by light pressure action from laser reflection. The device comprises a laser, a laser adjustment device, a beam splitter, a shutter, a reflector, and a laser power meter. Laser beam is generated by laser, adjusted by laser adjustment device, and divided into two paths by beam splitter. Laser in one path is measured at laser power meter; power measured determines magnitude for micro-thrust. In another path, it irradiates on the reflector on the target via shutter for generating micro-thrust. Light reflected by the reflector arrives at another laser power meter. Power of two laser paths are measured in real time by two laser power meters, acting micro-thrust is calculated by combining parameters including reflectivity and incident angle of laser irradiating the reflector, and light output power of the laser is adjusted in real time.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of observing a sample using a charged-particle beam apparatus in voltage contrast mode are disclosed. The charged-particle beam apparatus comprises a charged-particle source, an optical source, a charged-particle detector configured to detect charged particles, and a controller having circuitry configured to apply a first signal to cause the optical source to generate the optical pulse, apply a second signal to the charged-particle detector to detect the second plurality of charged particles, and adjust a time delay between the first and the second signals. In some embodiments, the controller having circuitry may be further configured to acquire a plurality of images of a structure, to determine an electrical characteristic of the structure based on the rate of gray level variation of the plurality of images of the structure, and to simulate, using a model, a physical characteristic of the structure based on the determined electrical characteristic.

At some point, request packets are received in real-time over the first secure tunnel from a first edge point that has encapsulated the request packets. The request packets originate from a malicious actor attacking a projected decoy. Response packets generated from high-fidelity processing of the request packets are encapsulated by the first decoy device and routing to the first secure data tunnel. The response packets are decapsulated and forwarded by edge points back to the malicious actor.

    Abstract: Provided are a ternary composite material having a NiO nanosheet/bimetallic CeCuOx microsheet core-shell structure, and a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. CeCuOx has a large specific surface area and high stability. A NiO/CeCuOx core-shell structured composite material catalyst is prepared by growing NiO nanosheets on the surface of CeCuOx by low-temperature hydrothermal treatment and heat treatment. The bimetallic CeCuOx microsheet shows better catalytic performance for toluene than monometallic oxides, i.e., copper oxide and cerium oxide. The further growth of the NiO nanosheets having different concentrations effectively improves catalytic activity. A 3Ni/CeCuOx catalyst can realize complete catalysis of toluene at 210° C.

    Abstract: A method for the low-temperature heat treatment of toluene by using a composite material having a ternary NiO nanosheet @ bimetallic CeCuOx microsheet core-shell structure. The composite material having the ternary NiO nanosheet @ bimetallic CeCuOx microsheet core-shell structure is placed in an environment containing toluene, and is heated at a low temperature to complete the treatment of toluene. The use of precious metal particles loading is avoided for the catalyst, and the costs of materials is thus greatly reduced. Moreover, nickel oxide grows on CeCuOx microsheet nanosheets. The preparation process is relatively simple, and the catalytic performance on toluene is excellent. Therefore, the method has high economical practicability and research value. The 3Ni/CeCuOx catalyst may completely catalyze toluene at 210° C., which has great research significance and certain application prospects for the actual solution of toluene polluted gas in the air environment.
