  • Patent number: 7767124
Abstract: A method of treating a polymer compound has the steps of: mixing and agitating the polymer compound and a chemical agent in an extruder while controlling the inside of the extruder to be kept at a high temperature and a high pressure to have a reaction mixture containing a polymer treated product; supplying the reaction mixture continuously into a high-pressure container disposed following the extruder and retaining the reaction mixture at the high temperature and high pressure for a predetermined time; then supplying the reaction mixture continuously to a chemical agent separator to separate the polymer treated product; and supplying the separated polymer treated product continuously to a molding means to form it into a molded material.

  • Patent number: 7618180
Abstract: A kneading disk has a plurality of disk elements having flight tips arranged at a helix angle ? in a direction supporting main streams of a resin. The flight tips of every two adjoining disks have a clearance formed therebetween. The resin is kneaded by undergoing dispersion and distribution without having any excessive temperature elevation in approximately three kinds of streams, i.e. its main streams flowing along the flight tips, its back streams through the clearances and its tip riding streams flowing over the flight tips.

  • Patent number: 7569617
Abstract: The object of the present invention resides in providing a method and instrument of polymer processing treatment, wherein a sudden pressure change due to expansion by gasification of a reactant when it is exhausted from a reacting extruder is given in a little amount to a molding machine for a treated substance, and a change in the amount of the material supplied to the molding machine and a variation in molding are little, and hence continuous and uniform molding is possible. That is, the method of the present invention resides in a method of polymer processing treatment, which includes the steps of: reacting a polymer with a reactant under mixing and stirring at a high temperature and a high pressure in the inside of a reacting extruder to produce the treated substance; introducing said treated substance and a remaining reactant into a reactant-separation tank to separate the treated substance and the reactant; and molding the separated treated substance.

  • Publication number: 20060280663
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to continuously feed an object to be treated to a high-pressure reactor which treats the object to be treated containing 10 mass % or more of water under high pressure, while preventing backflow of a high-pressure atmosphere from the high-pressure reactor. This is embodied by making a configuration such that the object to be treated is fed to the high-pressure reactor connected to a discharge port of a screw feeder which is provided with a feed unit for the object to be treated and the discharge port on one end side and the other end side respectively and forms a high-pressure atmosphere pressurized to, for example, 2 MPa or higher, while air-tightness between the high-pressure atmosphere and the one end side of the screw feeder is maintained by a sealing action of an accumulation compressed on the other end side of the screw feeder.

  • Publication number: 20060269640
Abstract: A screw-type kneading/extruding machine according to the present invention is constructed such that a screw (3) that is positioned in correspondence with a vent opening (4) formed in a cylinder (2) has a screw piece (10) with surface-renewing ability. The structure enables deaeration without involving temperature rise and quality deterioration of a raw material.

  • Publication number: 20050013192
Abstract: A kneading disk has a plurality of disk elements having flight tips arranged at a helix angle E in a direction supporting main streams of a resin. • Patent number: 4866760
Abstract: In an auto dialling facsimile apparatus, data representive of telephone numbers of specified destinations are stored in a first memory and data representative of access time intervals are stored in a second memory corresponding respectively to the specified destinations. The stored data are retrieved from the first and second memory in response to the entry of a called station unique code supplied from a keyboard. Telephone switching signal is transmitted to a switched telecommunication network in accordance with data retrieved from the first memory to establish a connection through the network. The length of time elapsed from the time said dialling signal is transmitted is measured, the measured time length being reset when an answer signal is returned from the desired destination. The switched connection is released when the measured time length exceeds the access time interval represented by the data retrieved from the second memory.
