  • Patent number: 7441950
Abstract: Providing a probe for an electronic clinical thermometer, which can measure a surface temperature and a deep body temperature of a human body securely in short time, the probe includes a cylindrical housing, a bottomed metal pipe fitted into a top end of the cylindrical housing, and a substrate having two thin-film heat-sensitive elements arranged perpendicularly on an inner wall of the bottomed metal pipe so as to fix one side edge of the substrate tightly on the inner wall. By measuring heat flux between the two thin-film heat-sensitive elements, the surface and the deep body temperatures of the human body can be predicted by applying the measured values into a heat conduction equation without waiting the sensor to reach in heat balance.

  • Patent number: 6367972
Abstract: A non-contact temperature sensor includes a holder serving as a light conducting portion for guiding infrared rays incident from a first opening at its one end; a plastic film arranged at a second opening of the other end of tile light conducting portion; a cover for sealing the second opening at the other end of the holder so as to provide a space between itself and the plastic film, an infrared ray detection heat-sensitive element arranged on the side of the space of the plastic film, for detecting the infrared rays incident from the first opening; and a temperature compensating heat-sensitive means arranged in the vicinity of the holder, for detecting the temperature of the holder. In this configuration, the surface temperature of the body-to-be-detected can be precisely detected in a short time.

  • Patent number: 5425309
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a cleaning unit, apparatus frames, a locking member, and air cylinders. The cleaning unit has a supply roll on which a web for cleaning a cylinder/roller is wound and a take-up roll for taking up the web drawn from the supply roll, and rotatably supports the supply and take-up rolls. The apparatus frames detachably support the cleaning unit. The locking member fixes and holds the cleaning unit on the apparatus frames. The air cylinders are fixed on the apparatus frames and rotate the take-up roll in a direction to take up the web.
