  • Patent number: 11087478
Abstract: An approach is provided that captures a set of sequential images of an area where there is a selected moving object. Both a keypoint-based (KP-based) matching model and a neural network based (NN-based) matching model are used with the KP-based matching model analyzing most or all of the captured images and the NN-based model being more computational intensive and analyzing a subset of the images. When the KP-based matching model fails to identify the selected object in an image, the NN-based model is used to find the object so that the KP-based matching model can re-establish tracking of the object.

  • Patent number: 10599469
Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for indicating a dialogue status of a conversation thread between a user of an electronic device and a virtual assistant capable of maintaining conversational context of multiple threads at a time. The method includes receiving, at an electronic device providing functionality of a virtual assistant (VA), a user input that corresponds to a task to be performed by the VA. The method includes determining, from among a plurality of selectable threads being concurrently maintained by the VA and based on content of the user input, one target thread to which the user input is associated. The method includes performing the task within the target thread.

  • Patent number: 10565956
Abstract: A method and apparatus filter light spectrum. Ambient light conditions of light that is ambient to a user device can be sensed. Ambient light color conditions can be determined based on the sensed ambient light conditions. User device charging times when the user device is being charged can be monitored. User device motion including movement of the user device can be monitored. User device activity can be monitored. Color-modified image display times can be ascertained from at least one selected from the user device motion, the user device activity, and the user device charging times. A color-modified image can be generated based on at least the ambient light color conditions and the color-modified image display times. The color-modified image can be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20190139307
Abstract: Various implementations modify a simulated display based upon object detection. A simulated reality device displays at least some computer-generated graphics on a display. In some implementations, the computer-generated graphics are visually overlaid on a real world scene to provide augmented information. Alternately or additionally, the computer-generated graphics visually replace a user's view of the real world scene to provide a virtual reality. While displaying the computer-generated graphics, the simulated reality device detects a real world object, such as by detecting the real world object is within a predetermined distance of the simulated reality device and/or by detecting the real world object is moving in one or more directions. Upon detecting the real world object, various implementations of the simulated reality device modify the computer-generated graphics to display a notification of the real world object.
