Abstract: Inside a blown-out air duct in the air conditioner through which conditioned air reaches a blowing-out port, there is provided a rectifying box having a air passage therein, for rectifying a flow of the conditioned air toward a predetermined flowing direction in order to prevent any dew condensation at the blowing-out port in the air conditioner. In the meantime, in order to suppress noise, rectifying plates for reducing an inflowing angle of air flowing into the fin tips of a heat exchanger are interposed between an axial fan and the heat exchanger for taking in the air from the axial fan for heat exchanging.

Abstract: An optical disc drive apparatus including a main tray having a stack of subtrays mounted thereon and movable between withdrawn and inserted positions. When the main tray is moved to the inserted position, the subtrays stacked thereon are held at a stand-by position and a selected one of the subtrays is ready to be drawn towards a loaded position so that an optical disc resting on the selected one of the subtrays can be clamped in position and optically read out.

Abstract: To detect a line position described on a surface by a simple structure, the line position detecting apparatus comprises a light beam generator including a laser diode, a collimator, a prism, and a mirror; a motor for rotating a laser beam to describe a circular locus on the surface; an encoder for detecting a laser beam angular position; a photosensor for detecting a laser beam reflected from the surface; and a calculator for detecting an angular position at which light beam intensity changes due to the presence of the line at at least one point of intersection between the line and the circular locus and for calculating the point indicated by x-y coordinates on the basis of the diameter of the circular locus and the detected angular position of a line to be detected.
