Abstract: Provided is a spinning method of reducing a diameter of a work piece pipe body with processing rollers disposed on an outer surface of the work piece pipe body, the processing rollers being configured to be relatively revolved around the work piece pipe body, wherein, when the processing rollers are axially reciprocated while being moved in a radius direction of the work piece pipe body, wherein the diameter reducing process with the processing rollers is performed under a state in which a wound body formed of an elastic sheet-like material is inserted as a core body into the inside of a portion of the work piece pipe body to be subjected to the diameter reducing processing.

Abstract: Provided is an electrode (1) which has a double structure including Cu or a Cu alloy as an electrode body (2) and a core material (3) made of W, Mo, a W-based alloy, or a Mo-based alloy embedded in a surface of the electrode body (2) which is abutted against a material to be welded, the core material (3) being formed by using W, Mo, the W-based alloy, or the Mo-based alloy which is in the form of a fibrous structure extended by sintering, swaging, and annealing in an electrode axis direction, the fibrous structure having a horizontal cross-sectional average particle diameter of 50 ?m or more and an aspect ratio of 1.5 or more. The electrode (1) can be used as an inexpensive electrode obtained by suppressing particle dropping/attrition and defects in electrodes for spot welding, in which heat and pressure are applied repeatedly, stably enhancing durability.

Abstract: A method for making sectionally deformed band plate feeds by cold-rolling metal band plate feeds between work rolls wherein at least one of the work rolls has a barrel provided with a circumferential groove, a plurality of metal band plate feeds with substantially equal resistance to deformation, while overlaid one upon another, are rolled together between the work rolls to a reduction ratio of 30% or lower at one feeding operation, and the resulting metal band plate feeds are separated from each other.
