Angiopoietin-4 protein increases an endothelial cell-specific protein level to induce regeneration of penile vascular endothelial cells, thereby increasing intracavernous pressure. Thus, angiopoietin-4 protein may be efficiently applied to prevention or treatment of erectile dysfunction.
