Publication number: 20240160482Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product is provided for dynamic allocation of resources. A database access pattern is determined by analyzing and monitoring traffic pattern between a pool of resources and a plurality of clients. The relationship between each of the resources is also determined. Access is enabled to a plurality of resources based on the database access and resource relationships, so that the plurality of resources can be accessed but not allocated until processing a request. A consumption model is generated that predicts resource need during a processing request based on the resource relationships, traffic pattern and resources availability. Upon receipt of a subsequent request for processing, consumption model is used to predict resource needs and to dynamically allocate, re-allocate and release the plurality of resources in a cascading manner until completion of subsequent processing request.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2022Publication date: May 16, 2024Inventors: Peng Hui Jiang, Wei Wu, Xin Peng Liu, Xiao Ling Chen, Yue Wang, Jun Su

Publication number: 20110159937Abstract: A direction detection device is provided for a game machine combined exercise bike. The direction detection device include a detection module mounted to a direction rotation module composed of a rotatable portion and a fixed portion. The detection module includes a plurality of signal receiver elements and a signal transmitter element, which are operated in a non-contact manner and are allowed for relative rotation with respect to each other. Each signal receiver element has a range of detection. During relative rotation between the signal transmitter element and the signal receiver elements, when the signal transmitter element is moved into the detection range of one of the signal receiver elements, the signal receiver elements detect a positional message of the signal transmitter element, and the signal receiver elements applies the message to a signal processing device of the game machine, which converts the positional message into a direction signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2010Publication date: June 30, 2011Inventors: Jian-Ye JIANG, Jun-Ling HU

Patent number: 7463699Abstract: DVB-T receivers and methods may provide automatic detection of spectrum inversion using continual pilot correlation. A DVB-T receiver may include a demodulator, a fast Fourier transformation (FFT) unit, and a spectrum inversion detector. The demodulator may demodulate a received DVB-T digital signal according to a spectrum inversion signal, and the FFT unit may perform fast Fourier transformation (FFT) on the demodulated signal. The spectrum inversion detector may calculate continual pilot correlation values for the FFT-processed signal and may generate the spectrum inversion signal to indicate whether spectrum inversion has occurred according to the calculated correlation values. The DVB-T receiver may perform normal correlation and position inversion correlation on continual pilots using a spectrum inversion detector to automatically detect whether spectrum inversion has occurred. Related methods are also discussed.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2005Date of Patent: December 9, 2008Assignee: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jun-Ling Zhang, Sato Masaki

Publication number: 20070112091Abstract: A composition of elastomeric insulation is provided. This composition is suitable to be used as a non-asbestos insulation in a solid rocket motor. In this embodiment, an EPDM rubber, a polyaramide fiber, a liquid EPDM rubber and an aluminum hydroxide are used to substitute the hazardous asbestos in traditional insulation materials to prevent environmental contamination. With careful formulation control, density of the composition based on this embodiment can be tailored to lower than 1.0 gm/cm3. Thus enable the insulation to be especially applicable in the areas of lower ablation rate in a solid rocket motor to reduce tare weight of the rocket motor. Moreover, since no chlorinated organic fire retardant compound is used therein, the additional advantage of low smoke density and low smoke toxicity is exhibited.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2005Publication date: May 17, 2007Inventors: Jun-Ling Fan, Shr-Hau Tsai, Fu-Hua Tu, Yao-Tsai Tu

Patent number: 6953823Abstract: Non-asbestos elastomeric insulating materials for solid propellant rocket motors are disclosed. The insulating materials are composed of EPDM rubber, polyaramide fiber, liquid EPDM rubber, magnesium hydroxide or aluminum hydroxide, silicon dioxide, chlorinated flame retardant compound and zinc hydroxystannate. The char forming organic fiber is used to substitute asbestos in traditional insulating materials that are believed to cause serious environmental problems. These fillers in the formulation, which when combined, have a synergistic effect that reduces the ablation rate significantly. Also, use of zinc hydroxystannate to substitute Sb2O3, may further reduce density of the insulator and smoke density and smoke toxicity of exhausted gas from the rocket motor.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2003Date of Patent: October 11, 2005Assignee: Chung Shan Institute of Science and TechnologyInventor: Jun-Ling Fan
