    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for producing a microchannel device, which can form a channel that has high hydrophobicity, high solvent resistance as well, and also resistance to heat and damage, on demand with high accuracy, and produces the microchannel device at a low cost, while having high productivity. The method for producing a microchannel device includes: forming a channel pattern from a hydrophobic resin on a porous substrate by an electrophotographic method; melting the channel pattern by heat to allow the channel pattern to permeate into the porous substrate, thereby forming a channel in the inside of the porous substrate.

    Abstract: A card connector is adapted to receive first and second electronic cards, each having a plurality of contact pads. The second card being wider than the first card. The connector includes an insulative housing with a plurality of first and second terminals mounted therein for engaging respective ones of the contact pads of the electronic cards when the cards are inserted into the connector. A cover member is pivotally mounted on the housing to permit movement of the cover member between an open position at which one of said first and second electronic cards may be inserted and a closed position at which the electronic card inserted into the cover is operatively positioned within the connector. The cover member has first and second sets of positioning members configured to position and hold electronic cards exclusively at the desired location for such card and wherein some of the positioning members of the first set also act as positioning members of the second set.

    Abstract: A memory card connector (10) is provided with an insulating housing (12) having a rear terminal-mounting section (26) which mounts a plurality of terminals having contact portions for engaging appropriate contacts on a memory card (22). A metal shell (14) is mounted on the housing and combines therewith to define a cavity having a front insertion opening to permit insertion and withdrawal of the memory card into and out of the connector. A card eject mechanism includes a slider (50) movably mounted on the housing and engageable with the memory card for movement therewith into and out of the cavity. The slider has a cam slot (52) defining movement of the card in the card-insertion and card-withdrawal directions. A cam pin (64) is operatively engageable in the cam slot of the slider. The cam pin (64) is formed from the metal shell.

A card ejector mechanism is located at least partially beneath the cavity adjacent one side thereof, whereby the opposite side plates of the metal shell define the opposite sides of the cavity.

A metal shell covers at least a portion of the insulating housing and includes a cover plate overlying at least a portion of the longitudinal side wall section of the housing An engaging structure includes an engaging projection on one of the cover plate of the metal shell or the top surface of the side wall section of the housing extending into an engaging opening in the other of the cover plate or top surface to prevent relative movement therebetween in a plane generally parallel to the cover plate and top surface. A slight clearance is provided between the engaging projection and the engaging opening to avoid creating residual stresses in the housing.
