  • Patent number: 6906455
Abstract: A reflection type flat cathode-ray tube enhanced in quality of display image, and its manufacturing method are presented. A flat cathode-ray tube is composed by forming a grid layer, a reflective layer, and a fluorescent layer sequentially at the inner side of a screen panel. The reflective layer is preferably formed at the outer side of the circumference of the fluorescent layer. On a transfer substrate, a transfer foil laminating at least a fluorescent layer, a reflective layer, and a grid layer in this order is prepared, the grid layer side of the transfer foil is heated, pressed and adhered to the inner side of a screen panel, a transfer substrate is peeled off, and a fluorescent screen composed of the fluorescent layer, reflective layer, and grid layer is transferred.

  • Publication number: 20040160716
Abstract: This invention detects an operating voltage output from a power supply circuit of an electric device using a control microcomputer, and makes a power supply detection circuit protecting the control microcomputer from an overvoltage and, a reduced voltage, compact. The power supply detection circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit, and a third circuit. The first circuit includes a first switching element. The second circuit includes a first voltage detection element and a second switching element. The third circuit includes a second voltage detection element and a third switching element. If a proper voltage is output from a voltage output terminal, the third circuit is made continuous, thereby turning on the first switching element and inputting a proper voltage signal to a power fail terminal of the control microcomputer. If an overvoltage is output, the second circuit is made continuous and the power fail terminal is set at a ground potential, thereby protecting the control microcomputer.

  • Patent number: 6742360
Abstract: In a sealing apparatus used in a process for sealing a glass tube-assembly of a flat-type cathode-ray tube by frits, three of a front panel, a screen panel and a funnel can be sealed together, and the front panel can be prevented from being broken. The sealing apparatus includes a frame for properly positioning a combined assembly in which the front panel, the screen panel and the funnel are butted with each other by frits and the following sealing jig (41). The sealing jig (41) includes a holding means (42) for holding a front panel (2) and a screen panel (3) under the condition that joint surfaces of the front panel and the screen panel are butted with each other by frits. The holding means (42) is provided with a first resilient member (43) which is urged against the outer surface of the front panel (2) and a second resilient member (42) which is urged against the outer surface of the screen panel (3).

  • Patent number: 6710533
Abstract: In a flat cathode-ray tube, there are problems that an axis of electron beam is separated before the electron beam enters a main lens due to magnetic field of a magnet disposed outside a neck, and coma aberration is generated to degrade an image quality. It is an object of the present invention to solve these problems. A flat cathode-ray tube comprises an electron gun 281 having a main lens 35M whose center coincides with a tube axis, a deflection yoke, and a magnet disposed outside a neck. An axis of a prefocus lens of the electron gun is separated from the tube axis.

  • Patent number: 6308844
Abstract: A method for handling an equipment inside a building by a crane installed outside; the method being employed when leading the wire hanging from the boom of a crane installed outside of a building (nuclear reactor containment vessel, into the building through an opening provided on the building, and lifting up or down an equipment inside said building by said wire. The said method includes a process for measuring by a three-dimensional measuring device which is positioned apart from the crane the shift of the boom caused by transfer of dead load of the equipment to the wire, in the course of transferring dead weight of the equipment between the wire and a structure inside the building, and correcting the position of the boom, by moving said boom up or down, back to a direction opposite to the shift so as to lift up the equipment vertically.

  • Patent number: 6252922
Abstract: A cask is lifted from outside of a nuclear reactor building through an opening which is opened at a portion of the nuclear reactor positioned just above a nuclear reactor pressure vessel. By maintaining the cask under a lifted condition a shroud which is an internal structure of the nuclear reactor is transferred and inserted to the cask from the nuclear reactor vessel. After that, an inlet port of the cask is closed, and the cask together with the shroud is lifted outside of the nuclear reactor building through the opening. The internal structure of the nuclear reactor can be speedily carried from the nuclear reactor building with reduced exposure of operators to radioactivity from the radioactive internal structure.

  • Patent number: 6198787
Abstract: A method of handling an internal structure of a nuclear reactor utilizing a receptacle such as a container or a cask. A cask, for example, is lifted from outside of a nuclear reactor building through an opening which is opened at a portion of the nuclear reactor positioned just above a nuclear reactor pressure vessel. While maintaining the cask under a lifted condition, a shroud, which is an internal structure of the nuclear reactor, is transferred and inserted to the cask from the nuclear reactor vessel. Thereafter, an inlet port of the cask is closed so that the cask substantially surrounds the shroud and substantially prevents radiation from the shroud passing therethrough. The cask together with the shroud is lifted outside of the nuclear reactor building through the opening. The internal structure of the nuclear reactor can be speedily carried from the nuclear reactor building with reduced exposure of operators to radioactivity from the radioactive internal structure.
