  • Patent number: 11961842
Abstract: An oxide semiconductor layer which is intrinsic or substantially intrinsic and includes a crystalline region in a surface portion of the oxide semiconductor layer is used for the transistors. An intrinsic or substantially intrinsic semiconductor from which an impurity which is to be an electron donor (donor) is removed from an oxide semiconductor and which has a larger energy gap than a silicon semiconductor is used. Electrical characteristics of the transistors can be controlled by controlling the potential of a pair of conductive films which are provided on opposite sides from each other with respect to the oxide semiconductor layer, each with an insulating film arranged therebetween, so that the position of a channel formed in the oxide semiconductor layer is determined.

  • Patent number: 8536826
Abstract: An electric vehicle information system prevents circulation of non-authentic batteries and battery components for electric vehicles. An electric vehicle data processing system is employed that performs, on an electric vehicle battery module having a plurality of battery cells installed therein, authentication of individual battery cells and the battery module itself in a hierarchical manner using a microcomputer. An electric vehicle is configured so as to cause the microcomputer of the data processing system to accumulate voltage history and charge history of the batteries in a nonvolatile storage circuit. The history information and the electric vehicle ID can be gathered by a maintenance device and a data server via an electronic control unit of the electric vehicle. A maintenance service system may thus be provided.

  • Patent number: 7580980
Abstract: A recipient identifier and communication condition information stored in a recipient-identifier storing unit are encrypted by an identifier-for-disclosure creating unit of a recipient terminal to create an identifier-for-disclosure. An identifier-for-disclosure notifying unit notifies a sender terminal of the identifier-for-disclosure. When a communication request using the identifier-for-disclosure is sent from the recipient terminal, a restoring unit of a relay system extracts the communication condition information from the identifier-for-disclosure. Only when communication conditions included in the communication condition information are satisfied, communication between the recipient terminal and the sender terminal is established.

Abstract: A principal object of the present invention is to provide low-cost techniques for readily detecting or quantifying dioxins using substances which are inexpensive and can be easily produced, and extracting dioxins using such substances. Dioxin binding peptides of the present invention are highly selective to dioxins, and are therefore capable of detecting or quantifying dioxins in test samples containing impurities. Dioxin binding peptides of the present invention are also capable of selectively extracting dioxins from impurity-containing test samples, and are therefore useful in simple pretreatment for quantifying and analyzing dioxins.

  • Publication number: 20070244568
Abstract: Decellularization of tissue by means of an amphipathic solvent a well-established practice. However, situations exist where the provision of enhanced decellularization is preferred. There is a demand for treating methods for coping with such situations. Thus, it is intended to provide a method for enhancing decellularization. The method comprises not only the immersing of a tissue in a solution containing an amphiphilic molecule in non-micellar form (for example, 1,2-epoxide polymer) but also performing a radical reaction (for example, treatment selected from the group consisting of exposure to gamma-ray irradiation, ultraviolet irradiation, a free radical supply source, ultrasonication, electron beam irradiation, and X-ray irradiation).
