  • Patent number: 10202932
Abstract: A water jacket spacer is arranged to surround substantially an entire periphery of a portion of the cylinder liner which corresponds to the water jacket. An opening through which a coolant introduced from a coolant-introducing section is introduced to an inner side of a water jacket spacer is formed in a portion of the water jacket spacer which corresponds to the coolant-introducing section. An upper section of the water jacket spacer is positioned close to a cylinder block outer peripheral wall. A coolant passage through which the coolant introduced from the opening is circulated around an outer periphery of an upper portion of the cylinder liner is formed between the upper section of the water jacket spacer and the outer periphery of the upper portion of the cylinder liner. • Patent number: 9166790
Abstract: In a communicator in a communication system, a commission information generator for generating a commission parameter to make a process on a communication between communicators performed by another computer includes a first memory for storing a secret key and an encrypter for generating N number of the commission parameters, where N is a natural number, from a first to an N-th commission parameter. The encrypter regards a j-th shared key, where j is a positive integer equal to or less than N, out of the N number of shared keys as key information, encrypts a bit sequence representation of j-th partial information, associated with the j-th shared key, out of N pieces of partial information, and thereby generates a j-th commissioned parameter.

  • Patent number: 8503677
Abstract: A communication device receives secure communication frames on which a security transform has been performed to permit authentication. The communication device maintains an authentication history and a local time varying parameter. In multi-hop communication, the communication device provisionally verifies the freshness of a received secure communication frame by verifying that identifying information extracted from the frame is not already present in the authentication history and that a received time varying parameter extracted from the frame is not older than the local time varying parameter by more than a certain margin. If these freshness tests both pass, the frame is authenticated. If authentication succeeds, the frame is transmitted on the next hop without performance of a new security transform.

  • Publication number: 20110078311
Abstract: As a defense against cyber attacks, a network communication device permits other communication devices to associate and undergo entity authentication, registers the identifiers of devices that pass entity authentication in a memory, and communicates only with those devices. As a further defense, the network communication device may also impose association control by normally refusing to let other communication devices even associate. The network communication device monitors the communicability of devices with identifiers registered in the memory. If communication with a device becomes disabled, its identifier is removed from the memory and placed in a whitelist. Whitelisted devices may re-associate even while association control is in effect. A device that experiences outage may therefore re-associate autonomously, without requiring human intervention.
