The load control unit (64) applies an actual load, corresponding to at least one location which belongs to the locations represented by the ram location information and to which the ram is moved, to a compression target by moving the ram to the location. The diagnosing device includes a temperature sensor for measuring a temperature related to a temperature of the liquid medium, and a calculating unit for calculating a concentration of the liquid medium. The calculating unit calculates a viscosity of the liquid medium based on a flow rate of the liquid medium flowing through the flow passage and performance of the pump, and when the calculation as to the viscosity of the liquid medium is executed with a plurality temperature conditions, the calculating unit calculates the concentration of the liquid medium based on a relationship between the plurality of temperature conditions and the corresponding viscosities of the liquid medium.

    Abstract: A vehicle cooling system includes: a channel allowing a liquid medium cooling a drive device of the vehicle to circulate; a flow rate detection unit detecting a flow rate of the liquid medium flowing in the channel; a temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the liquid medium; a pump provided on the channel for circulating the liquid medium; a rotational speed sensor detecting a rotational speed of the pump; and a control device controlling drive of the pump. The control device identifies a malfunctioning part of the cooling system based on the flow rate and the temperature of the liquid medium and the rotational speed of the pump. Thus, since abnormalities of the cooling mechanism can be detected with higher precision so that the abnormalities are distinguished from each other, it is a limited part that should be checked when repairs are made and the work efficiency is improved.

The control device changes a heat generating state of the heating element, and estimates a flow rate of the liquid medium flowing through the flow channel based on a time lag taken for detecting a temperature change caused by changing the heat generating state by the plurality of temperature sensors. Preferably, the drive device includes a motor, and a power control unit for driving the motor, and the heating element is a power control element in the power control unit.

    Abstract: Carbon black is introduced into a granulating machine 3 through an inlet 1 and water is introduced into the same through an inlet 2 to prepare granulated carbon black, which is fed to a cylindrical rotary type dryer 5 through a line 4 and is dried. A product of carbon black is discharged through a line 6. Temperature in the dryer 5 is measured by a plurality of thermometers 10. A combustion control device performs the arithmetical processing of temperature data to obtain the initial point at which the state of the carbon black is changed from the constant rate of drying to the falling rate of drying. The control device controls each flow rate of fuel supplied from each line 7 or 8 to burners 9 for the front and rear half portions of the dryer by using the critical point and the temperature of the carbon black at the outlet of the dryer, whereby a temperature profile for the carbon black in the dryer 5 can be made stable for a long time.
