  • Patent number: 8871400
Abstract: A fuel cell system of the present invention is a fuel cell system including a fuel cell and includes a medium circulation passage, a heat medium tank, a first circulator, a recovered water tank, a water circulation passage, a second circulator, a water purifier, a temperature detector, and a controller. The heat medium circulation passage and the water circulation passage are configured so as to realize heat exchange between a heat medium and water. The controller executes a circulation operation in which when the temperature detector detects a temperature lower than a first temperature capable of sterilizing microorganisms, the second circulator is caused to operate such that the temperature detected by the temperature detector becomes the first temperature or higher.

  • Publication number: 20130294130
Abstract: A fuel cell system including: a hydrogen generator for causing a reforming reaction of a material gas to generate a hydrogen-containing fuel gas; a fuel cell configured to cause a reaction between the fuel gas generated by the hydrogen generator and an oxygen-containing oxidizing gas; a combustor configured to combust at least one of the material gas and an off fuel gas discharged from the fuel cell; a casing configured to accommodate the hydrogen generator, the fuel cell, and the combustor; a first exhaust port, formed on the casing and through which the flue gas from the combustor is discharged to an outside of the casing; a first intake port formed on the casing; suction units configured to suction air through the first intake port into the casing; and a CO detector configured to detect carbon monoxide contained in the air suctioned through the first intake port.

  • Publication number: 20120064417
Abstract: A fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell unit for generating electric power using fuel gas and oxidizing gas and supplying the electric power; a condensed water tank for storing condensed water recovered from gas exhausted from the fuel cell unit; a water supply passage through which water is supplied from the condensed water tank to the fuel cell unit; and a water purifier disposed on the water supply passage to purify at least ions in the water; the water purifier including an ion-exchange resin layer, an antibacterial agent layer disposed upstream of the ion-exchange resin layer in a flow direction, an active carbon layer disposed between the ion-exchange resin layer and the antibacterial agent layer, and a first gap formed between the active carbon layer and the ion-exchange resin layer.

  • Patent number: 6369364
Abstract: An electric thermo pot provided with a coating layer formed on the inner surface of the vessel containing powdered charcoal. Electric thermo pot of the present invention improves quality of liquid kept therein. It is generally believed that the liquid quality is improved presumably by infrared ray radiated from the powdered charcoal contained in the layer. Presumable causes for the improvement also include a very small amount of certain elements dissolving out of the powdered charcoal into the liquid and an effect of absorption pertinent to the powdered charcoal.

  • Patent number: 6143417
Abstract: This invention provides a contamination-resistant float glass showing even quality in durability and its good quality sufficienty. The film for contamination-resistance is formed only on the top-side surface of a float glass. The surface, free from tin diffused from a float bath, can be identified by ultraviolet irradation. A solution including a chemical adsorbent like fluoroalkyltrichlorosilane is applied to the top-side surface by a roller coater. The adsorbent can be prevented from hydrolyzing with dry air around the coating portion of the coater. Surplus solution can be removed with dry air blown on the surface to make the contamination-resistant property and the appearance better. The chemical adsorbent is bonded to the surface via a siloxane bond to form a thin film. The contamination-resistant float glass is installed in the front door of an apparatus like a toaster oven with the film facing the inside of the oven.
