  • Publication number: 20140242351
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for laser marking an object. In the method, a coating material is applied on a surface of a predetermined part of the object made of resin so as to provide a coated region on the object. The coated region is different in color from the object. Subsequently, laser is emitted onto a part of the coated region to remove the coating material from the object so as to provide a non-coated region having a predetermined shape within the coated region on the object. Moreover, the laser is emitted to the non-coated region to change a color of a resin surface of the object in the non-coated region. Accordingly, the laser marking can be performed at low cost and high speed without requiring a special device.

  • Patent number: 7258576
Abstract: A sensor device has a sensing portion, a connector terminal, and a case housing the sensing portion therein and forming a terminal fixing portion. The connector terminal has a fixed portion fixed in the terminal fixing portion of the case. The connector terminal is electrically connected to the sensing portion through a lead for allowing signal transmission between the sensing portion and an external device. A ratio of the volume of the fixed portion of the connector terminal to the volume of the fixing portion of the case is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio.

  • Patent number: 6512310
Abstract: An electro-mechanical impact detecting device for a vehicle is provided which implements a multi-stage control for vehicle occupant protection systems and improves the operational delay characteristics of the vehicle occupant protection systems at an irregular collision based on the setting of multiple impact levels which are detected. When a main rotor rotates by a certain amount against the exertion force of a moving contact, the moving contact and fixed contact close the circuit, thereby detecting the first impact level. When the main rotor further rotates against the exertion force of the torsional coil spring, the remaining two pairs of fixed contacts and close the circuits sequentially, thereby detecting the second and third impact levels, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5887891
Abstract: In an air bag apparatus which is installed at an opening of a dashboard, a case fixed to a vehicle dashboard has an opening and side walls having through holes. A door to cover the opening of the case has connecting portions having through holes. The connecting portions of the door are connected to the side walls of the case by stays. In this case, one end of each of the stays is fixed to the outer face of one of the side walls and the other end penetrates both the respective through holes of one of the side walls and one of the connecting portions so that the door can move in three dimensions with respect to the case. As a result, the door can be disposed at the opening of the dashboard without tilting with respect to the upper surface of the dashboard.
