    Abstract: A speaker includes at least a terminal plate, a vibration unit, a tinsel wire, and an elastic member. Among these, the vibrating unit includes a voice coil and a diaphragm. The tinsel wire connects the terminal plate and the voice coil. The elastic member is set at a position where the elastic member becomes deformed due to movement stress generated at the tinsel wire in response to vibration of the vibration unit when excessive current exceeding a predetermined current range is input to the voice coil via the tinsel wire. Such an elastic member becomes deformed due to the movement stress generated at the tinsel wire in response to the vibration of the vibration unit.
