  • Patent number: 8293060
Abstract: A method for laser beam welding includes: forming a triangle protrusion on a light-absorption resin member; pressing a top of the protrusion on a translucent resin member; contacting the top of the protrusion and a part of the light-absorption resin member on the translucent resin member; irradiating a laser beam on the protrusion through the translucent resin member; and welding the translucent resin member to the light-absorption resin member with melted resin of the protrusion. The protrusion has a height, which provides to set deformation of the translucent resin member within a limit of a tensile strength of the translucent resin member, and the deformation of the translucent resin member is caused by the pressing the top of the protrusion.

  • Publication number: 20100193121
Abstract: A method of laser welding two resin members includes the steps of: providing a first and a second resin member each having a joining surface; forming a ridge with a length on the joining surface of one of the first and second resin members, the ridge including a base portion and a tip portion that has smaller width and expansion rate in width than those of the base portion; placing one of the first and second resin members on the other so that the joining surfaces of the first and second resin members face each other with the ridge interposed therebetween; pressing one of the first and second resin members against the other so as to completely crush the tip portion of the ridge; and irradiating the base portion of the ridge with a laser beam while continuously pressing one of the first and second resin members against the other.

  • Patent number: 7116215
Abstract: A sensor device includes a G sensor producing an electric signal in accordance with physical displacement of its sensing portion and a casing mounting this G sensor. A casing chamber is sealed with a potting material so that the G sensor is covered with the potting material. The potting material has the role of surely damping the high-frequency vibration which generally causes resonance. Thus, the G sensor can accurately detect the collision and vibration without being adversely influenced by the resonance.

  • Publication number: 20060124702
Abstract: In a soldering method of soldering a lead of an electronic part to a land of a printed circuit board, a heating ray is applied in a condition that a shielding member is arranged on a surface of the printed circuit board around the land. The shielding member is disposed to prevent at least one of a direct ray and an indirect ray from applying to the printed circuit board around the land. Accordingly, the printed circuit board is prevented from burning around the land.
