The main body includes a base wall, and first and second connecting walls extending respectively from opposite lateral edges of the base wall. The first connecting wall has a first front wall segment and a first rear wall segment. The second connecting wall has a second front wall segment and a second rear wall segment. The connecting mechanism includes a first connecting unit provided on the first front wall segment, and two second connecting units. Each of the second connecting units is provided on a respective one of the second front and rear wall segments of the second connecting wall, and has a contour matching that of the first connecting unit.

    Abstract: An optical fiber connector includes a connector body and an actuating device. The connector body is adapted to connect with an adapter, and includes a main body portion having a tubular section, a resilient retaining arm portion extending inclinedly from the main body portion, and a pressing plate portion extending inclinedly from the main body portion. The actuating device includes a handle unit and two flexible rods extending from the handle unit and through the tubular section in the main body portion to connect with a free end of the pressing plate portion. The handle unit can be pulled to move the free end of the pressing plate portion to press a free end of the resilient retaining arm portion, thereby allowing for removal of the connector body from the adapter.

    Abstract: A boot for cooperating with a head piece to serve as an optical fiber connector includes a positioning piece and a curved tube. The positioning piece is connected to the headpiece and has two parallel through holes. The curved tube has a curved tubular section and an affixing sleeve section. The curved tubular section is connected to the positioning piece, and is formed with an elongated groove that extends along length of the curved tubular section, such that two optical fiber lines coupled to the headpiece through the positioning piece are installed into the curved tubular section via the groove. The affixing sleeve section is connected to the curved tubular section, and is adapted for affixing portions of the optical fiber lines thereon.
