Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for presenting a mark with thickness that depends on the direction in which a drawing input is received. Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for presenting simulated marks that merge with or overlap other simulated marks. Some embodiments described in this disclosure are directed to electronic devices that provide for scrolling and movement of a content entry palette in a user interface based on movement of input directed to the content entry palette.
