    Abstract: A data driver includes a ramp signal generator generating a first ramp signal and a second ramp signal, a counter generating a count signal based on a clock signal, and channels each generating a data signal based on the first ramp signal, the second ramp signal, and the count signal. Each channel includes a latch circuit dividing the image data into a first partial data and a second partial data and latching the first and the second partial data, a duplication driver generating first and second reference signals by duplicating the first and second ramp signals, a digital-analog converter generating a driving signal corresponding to a first partial data based on the first and second reference signals, and an output circuit sampling the driving signal by comparing the second partial data with the count signal to output the data signal.

The distributing unit may include output terminals, may distribute the first analog signal set to the output terminals in a first sequence in the first period, and may distribute the second analog signal to the output terminals in a second sequence. The second sequence may be opposite to the first sequence.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal having a wide display unit is provided. The mobile terminal includes a main body having a first display unit therein. The mobile terminal includes a folder unit having a second display unit at an inner surface opposite to the first display unit. The terminal also includes a sliding unit connected to one end of the folder unit to guide the folder unit capable of performing a slide movement. The terminal includes a hinge coupler to connect the sliding unit and the main body such that the sliding unit rotates based on the main body. The folder unit positions the second display unit to be adjacent to the first display unit by performing a slide movement toward the main body when the folder unit is opened as the sliding unit rotates based on the hinge coupler, and a wide display unit is formed when a surface of the first display unit and a surface of the second display unit become in a single plane. Thereby, mobility of a mobile terminal while providing a wide display unit can be provided.

    Abstract: A light guide plate for a surface light source device is provided, which includes an incident surface configured to have light from lamps disposed along a predetermined axis, be incident thereon, an emitting surface configured to have the incident light emitted therefrom, a back surface configured to face the emitting surface, and a plurality of unit cells configured to have microprism patterns engraved thereon and distributed and arranged on the back surface. A crossing angle of a microprism arrangement axis, formed by a ridge direction of the microprism patterns, and of an arrangement axis of the lamps is disposed in an alternate angle. The light guide plate has a high front brightness and an excellent uniformity in brightness and does not have a moire phenomenon. In a backlight unit, the use of optical sheets stacked on the light guide plate can be reduced.
