Abstract: [Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a novel fluorescent gel for glucose monitoring, whereby a concentration of glucose in a living body can be continuously measured and fibrosis of the gel can be suppressed even when the gel is implanted for a long period of time; and continuous glucose monitoring using the fluorescent gel. [Solution] A fluorescent gel for glucose monitoring, having a three-dimensional mesh structure in which a plurality of four-armed polymers having a polyethylene glycol skeleton are crosslinked at terminal ends thereof, wherein a fluorescent dye unit exhibiting a fluorescence response by bonding with glucose is immobilized in the gel structure by covalent bonding.
