The server system computes whether the charge exemption is approved. The purchaser is allowed to continue making attempts until either he/she is approved or he/she uses up the allowed number of attempts. However, even if the purchaser does not win, he/she is allowed to pay the full price and purchase the item. If any of the purchaser's attempts are successful, or if the purchaser chooses to pay the full price of the item, the item is purchased.
