Abstract: A communication control system applicable to a portable communication apparatus and a method thereof are disclosed. The communication control system includes a first communication module, a second communication module, a detector, and a controller. A first wireless signal is sent and received between the first communication module and a first base station via a first communication network. A second wireless signal is sent and received between the second communication module and a second base station via a second communication network. The detector detects the statuses of the first communication module and the second communication module. If one of the communication modules is detected being in communication, the detector triggers the controller to stop the other communication module from using the corresponding communication network.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method of transferring data between two PHS handsets in a short distance, which comprises the steps of registering two PHS handsets in a group, assigning a channel for data communication therebetween, configuring two PHS handsets as a sender and a recipient in the group, establishing a connection between the PHS handsets, causing the sender to send packets as divided data to the recipient, performing a data transfer mechanism to send the packets to the recipient, assembling the actually received packets, inspecting and storing the data in a reference data storage by the recipient, for sharing data therebetween.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method of downloading data from a PC to a PHS or vice versa, which comprises the steps of commanding a PC to edit data (e.g., phonebook, picture, or ring data) by a PHS, sending the edited data complying with the data requirements of the PHS to a data packet sending mechanism of the PC, and dividing the data into a plurality of data packets, sequentially sending the data packets to the PHS via a transfer interface of the PC, assembling the data packets for verification and storing the data packets in a corresponding area of the PHS.
