    Abstract: Wireless resource allocation and buffer status reporting may be based on packet size, and a base station may allocate resources for communications with a user equipment (UE) to provide resources for an integer number of packets. For downlink communications from a base station to a UE, a scheduler may allocate resources to transmit an integer number of packets, based on packet size and a number of packets to be transmitted. For uplink communications, a UE may transmit a buffer status report (BSR) that indicates packet size and a number of packets to be transmitted. A base station may allocate uplink resources to the UE that correspond to an integer number of packets. Resources may be allocated that have a variable length transmission time interval (TTI) that may be adjusted, alone or in combination with other resources (e.g., frequency resources), to provide for transmission of an integer number of packets.

    Abstract: A method for generating a classification model using original data that is sensitive or private to a data owner. The method includes: receiving, from one or more entities, a masked data set having masked data corresponding to the original sensitive data, and further including a masked feature label set for use in classifying the masked data contents; forming a shared data collection of the masked data and the masked feature label sets received; and training, by a second entity, a classification model from the shared masked data and feature label sets, wherein the classification model learned from the shared masked data and feature label sets is the same as a classification model learned from the original sensitive data. The sensitive features and labels cannot be reliably recovered even when both the masked data and the learning algorithm are known.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive data from both a source base station and a target base station during handover. For example, the UE may refrain from resetting or reestablishing media access control (MAC) and packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer configurations until after a successful access procedure is performed with the target base station. In some cases, a single radio link control (RLC)/PDCP stack may be used during handover procedures. A source base station may, for example, forward data to a target base station after receiving a handover execution message. A UE may identify and resolve any duplicate data sent by both base stations during the transition. Additional signaling may be used (e.g., during the radio resource control (RRC) configuration) to indicate that a UE supports dual link handover.
