  • Patent number: 9272390
Abstract: A pad conditioning tool includes a sapphire substrate with a specific orientation plane, wherein the specific orientation plane is selected from a group consisting of a-plane, c-plane, r-plane, m-plane, n-plane and v-plane, the sapphire substrate further defining a mounting surface; and a plurality of sapphire dressing particles and a plurality of scrapers formed on the mounting surface of the substrate in a predetermined geometric arrangement, wherein the dressing particles are scattered between an adjacent pair of the scrapers. In case a wafer polishing pad is conditioned by the dressing particles of the pad conditioning tool, the scrapers are capable of removing abrasive waste and particles from the wafer polishing pad during a dressing operation, thereby forming new trenches and cilia structure on a polishing surface of the wafer polishing pad.

  • Publication number: 20150193054
Abstract: A touch sensor mechanism for a touch display device, includes a cover lens made by a transparent material having a dielectric constant greater than 4.5 and a compression strength greater than 700 MPa for generating a finger's touching capacitance (CF) while a user's finger of a user touch thereon; and a sensor device module including a plurality of sensor devices having a sensor parasitic capacitance (CP). The cover lens and the sensor device module are disposed in the touch display device in such a manner that a ratio of a standard deviation value (?U) of the finger's touching capacitance (CF) of the cover lens to the sensor parasitic capacitance (CP) of the sensor device module is a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The SNR is adjusted along with the finger's touching capacitance (CF) by reducing the thickness of the cover lens.

  • Publication number: 20130271394
Abstract: A touch panel is revealed. The touch panel includes a substrate, a touch display module and a cover plate. The touch display module is clipped between the substrate and the cover plate to reduce the thickness of the touch panel. The cover plate or the substrate is made from matrix with Mohs hardness greater than 8 to have good surface hardness. Thus no coating or anti-smudge treatment on the surface of the cover plate or the substrate is required and the surface is durable to long term or multiple times of pressing and touching. The cover plate or the substrate will not have scratches, damages or smudges after long term or multiple times of use. The manufacturing cost is also reduced significantly.

  • Patent number: 7968075
Abstract: A multi-element metal chalcogenide and a method for preparing the same are provided. The multi-element metal chalcogenide includes multiple metal elements. A multi-element metal chalcogenide powder is prepared, and all of the multiple metal elements of the multi-element metal chalcogenide are derived from at least one of simple substance powders of the metal elements and one or more alloy powders mixed in accordance with a mole ratio. A solution phase synthesis of the powder of the multi-element metal chalcogenide is then conducted under normal pressure to prepare the multi-element metal chalcogenide. The multi-element metal chalcogenide can be coated to obtain a film or used to make a target and then bombard the target for sputtering a film. In such a way, a selenization process which is conventional in fabricating the semiconductor solar cell is eliminated, thus improving production yield and efficiency.
