    Abstract: A storage system includes a management node and a plurality of storage nodes forming a redundant array of independent disks (RAID). When the management node determines that not all data in an entire stripe is updated based on a received write request, the management node sends an update data chunk obtained from to-be-written data to a corresponding storage node. The storage node does not directly update, based on the received update data chunk, a data block stored in a storage device of the storage node, but store the update data chunk into a non-volatile memories (NVM) cache of the storage node and send the update data chunk to another storage node for backup. According to the data updating method, write amplification problems caused in a stripe update process can be reduced, thereby improving update performance of the storage system.

The intermediate sequence is generated by inserting a set of coefficients between coefficients of the input sequence. Each non-zero coefficient of the set of coefficients is inserted between a first adjacent coefficient and a second adjacent coefficient. Each non-zero coefficient has a power that is between a first power of the first adjacent coefficient and a second power of the second adjacent coefficient and a phase value between a first phase value of the first adjacent coefficient and a second phase value of the second adjacent coefficient. The method also includes generating a waveform using the output sequence.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to achieve dynamic bandwidth allocation among terminal groups (TGs) with proportional fairness in terms of both throughput and spectrum usage across a network. Quality of service (QoS) metrics for such TGs can be satisfied in terms of maximum throughput and spectrum utilization, while also satisfying QoS metrics such as latency, throughput, and prioritized traffic services for individual terminals within the TGs. A centralized bandwidth manager can be utilized to manage such dynamic bandwidth allocation across multiple Code Rate Organizers (CROs), including environments in which the multiple CROs manage communications across multiple IPGWs for multiple terminal groups. Because, in such environments, a given conventional CRO cannot effectively manage allocations across the entire network, the centralized bandwidth management functionality can be introduced to assess the flows for multiple TGs across multiple CROs and to make bandwidth allocations accordingly.
