    Abstract: An electronic apparatus according to various embodiments comprises: a wireless communication circuit comprising a broadband communication module and a Bluetooth communication module; a processor; and a memory operationally connected to the wireless communication circuit, wherein the memory may store instructions for controlling the processor, when executed, to measure a distance from a mobile device on the basis of a first signal transmitted and received through the broadband communication module, determine a direction in which the mobile device is located according to whether a second signal transmitted and received through the Bluetooth communication module is measurable, and control execution of a function of the electronic apparatus according to the determined direction of the mobile device when the measured distance of the mobile device is located in an area set for the execution of the function.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a plurality of antennas to communicate with an external electronic device and at least one processor operatively connected to the plurality of antennas. The processor is configured to detect a tracking start event using an external magnetic material positioned at a location adjacent to the electronic device, to track a location of the external electronic device using the plurality of antennas and, while the tracking is performed, to obtain a height value of the external electronic device when an angle between the electronic device and the external electronic device is a specified angle. The processor is further configured to change a specified condition based on the obtained height value, to detect a tracking end event based on the specified condition, and to change an operating mode associated with the electronic device in response to detecting the tracking end event.

The processor may be configured to: receive the signal through the first antenna and the second antenna; measure a first distance between the first antenna and the external electronic device using the signal received by the first antenna; measure a second distance between the second antenna and the external electronic device using the signal received by the second antenna; determine a movement direction of the external electronic device based on a change in a difference between the first distance and the second distance; and perform a preset operation corresponding to the movement direction of the external electronic device. Other embodiments are also possible.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multi-band ZigBee transceiver for supporting IEEE 802.15.4 wireless communications. In the multi-band ZigBee transceiver, a Multi-Mode Modem (MMM) selects any one of a European version standard using 860 MHz band, a US version standard using 920 MHz band, and a worldwide version standard using 2.4 GHz ISM band among IEEE 802.15.4 standards. A frequency synthesizing unit variably adjusts a carrier frequency according to the transmission standard. A transmission unit receives a digital modulated signal, low-pass-filters the digital modulated signal with a bandwidth thereof being variably adjusted, and up-converts the filtered digital modulated signal into an RF modulated signal corresponding to the selected transmission channel.
