  • Patent number: 10561136
Abstract: This invention kills the phragmites plant reed and rhizome by stimulating a specific DNA repair response with a mechanical cutting in the lower portion of the middle ? of the reed. The DNA repair instruction for said damage is to seal the ligules closed and sucker outside the above ground ligules starting from the top down. First allow the reed to grow into its seasonal size. Cut just under a ligule in said range and remove the top. The DNA repair response is activated by the position of the cut. Rainwater enters the internal reed components over time, the DNA repair is incapable of sealing the ligule closed, rotting forms on any ligules or suckers and the reed and rhizome die. If the top ligule does seal closed and or suckers it is removed just below the ligule with a second cutting to maintain an open stalk to collect rainwater.

  • Publication number: 20170238469
Abstract: It is new in the art to mechanically expose Phragmites to continual rain water internal intrusion and retention. Man-made water reservoirs made from the Phragmites living stalk is a new mechanical removal method. Rapid destruction in one season of entire clones occurs with simply one or two cuttings and is effective in any season. Maintaining minimum ? of stalk height leaves the ground shaded and water-logged continually inhibiting seedling growth and causing Phragmites destruction without soil disturbance. Phragmites coding does not have a repair system to overcome mid-section stalk cutting collecting water. It fails to send out new rhizomes as it sends new suckers from the top ligule instead. A second sucker is easily removed below the ligule and the stalk fails to support it's life and dies. Increased insect and fungal activity from the man-made water-logging Phragmites stalk reservoir further reduces Phragmites function and suppresses seedling growth.

  • Publication number: 20110227285
Abstract: A three-dimensional puzzle consisting of individual three-dimensional puzzle pieces, each with three-dimensional multi-planar curved surfaces which when placed together form a completed three-dimensional geometric puzzle. The three-dimensional puzzle pieces share all points in a space with a three-dimensional scene of solid objects in the same space. The surfaces of the individual three-dimensional puzzle pieces are multi-planar curved surfaces sharing the intersection on each surface with the intersection of the scene at the same points between the scene and the substrate and the space dissection rendered into artwork on the puzzle piece surface. Each individual puzzle piece has a fixed position in the three-dimensional space of the scene and as the puzzle pieces are assembled the scene is continually completed in all three dimensions. Length, width and depth is revealed by artwork on each puzzle piece surface for the solid objects in the scene at the puzzle surface dissection.

  • Publication number: 20070007724
Abstract: The present invention includes a multi-level two or three dimensioned puzzle assembly applying multiple assembly techniques to join either a plurality of two-dimensional double or single sided pieces or a plurality of three-dimensional pieces. These pieces may be assembled in multiple levels, and joined in a mechanical or an electrical manner. In one embodiment, a plurality of two dimensional puzzle pieces may be assembled and viewed from at least two directions allowing a user to create alternative scenes. In another embodiment, a puzzle kit may include a plurality of three-dimensional puzzle pieces, each with a different portion of a particular scene. As this kit is assembled, each section/slice of the scene is revealed and may be adaptively assembled or included and integrated into a game or contest context.
