A throttle element and a choke element are pivotally journalled in this intake channel (10). A first coupling element is fixedly connected to the throttle element so as to pivot therewith and a second coupling element is fixedly connected to the choke element so as to pivot therewith. The first and second coupling elements form a blocking arrangement which prevents an engagement of the choke element when the throttle element is not actuated.
