    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically controlling illuminance, which transmits a dimming signal based on the zero-crossing of AC power using an illuminance control electronic switch. An apparatus for automatically controlling illuminance of Light-Emitting Diode (LED) lighting according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a dimming control electronic switch for, if manipulation of a switch by a user is sensed during supply of Alternating Current (AC) power to an LED lamp, interrupting supply of the AC power during a preset period of time based on zero-crossing of the AC power, and an LED lamp control device for controlling illuminance of the LED lamp by detecting supply and interruption of the AC power.
