  • Publication number: 20240384931
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode sheet drying apparatus capable of preventing thermal wrinkles in a non-coated portion, and more particularly to an electrode sheet drying apparatus for drying an electrode sheet including a pair of coated portions each having an electrode active material applied to one surface of metal foil and a non-coated portion located between the pair of coated portions, the apparatus including a chamber configured to dry the electrode sheet therein, a heater provided at an upper part of the chamber, the heater being configured to adjust the temperature in the chamber to a temperature necessary to dry the electrode sheet, and at least one guide roll configured to guide movement of the electrode sheet in the chamber and to maintain tension of the electrode sheet, wherein a part of the electrode sheet is moved in a state of being spaced apart from the guide roll.

  • Patent number: 11975500
Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate, comprising a step of irradiating an optical laminate with ultraviolet rays having an emission wavelength band of 380 nm to 410 nm. The optical laminate sequentially comprises a first base film, a first adhesive layer, a linear polarizer, a second adhesive layer, a second base film and a reverse dispersion liquid crystal layer. The first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer each comprise a photosensitizer for initiating a curing reaction in a wavelength band of 350 nm to 410 nm, and the ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the first base film side of the optical laminate.

  • Publication number: 20240145731
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for simulating thermal wrinkles of an electrode sheet and a simulation method using the same, and more particularly to an apparatus for simulating thermal wrinkles of an electrode sheet having an active material applied thereto generated during drying of the electrode sheet, the apparatus including an electrode sheet fixing unit configured to applying tensile load to the electrode sheet (S) so as to be stretched by a predetermined length in the state in which opposite ends of the electrode sheet are fixed, a temperature adjustment unit configured to heat the electrode sheet fixing unit to a predetermined temperature while wrapping the electrode sheet fixing unit, and a rail configured to move the temperature adjustment unit, and a simulation method using the same.

  • Publication number: 20230411594
Abstract: An anode for a secondary battery and a jelly-roll type electrode assembly including the anode. The anode includes an anode current collector that satisfies a creep rate condition represented by Formula 1 within a certain range. When the anode is applied to the jelly-roll type electrode assembly, deformation and/or expansion of electrode assembly can be controlled, even if it contains a silicon-containing anode active material because the stress generated from the exterior is significantly low. It is possible to ensure excellent safety because the stress accumulated in the anode current collector is greatly reduced, which lowers the risk of an internal disconnection of the electrode assembly.
