  • Publication number: 20220144683
Abstract: Apparatus for manufacturing glass including a forming body configured to form a glass ribbon and a glass scoring apparatus positioned below the forming body. The glass scoring apparatus includes a frame, a cross-member assembly and a movable scoring unit coupled thereto. At least four drive assemblies are mounted on the frame, each drive assembly including a threaded shaft, a drive motor coupled to the threaded shaft and configured to rotate the threaded shaft, and a ball nut assembly engaged with threads of the threaded shaft and coupled to the cross-member assembly such that rotation of the threaded shafts by the drive motors causes the cross-member assembly to vertically rise or lower. Multiple scoring devices are provided to enable bidirectional scoring of the glass ribbon.

  • Publication number: 20080226873
Abstract: A material having a shock absorbing capability and related method is disclosed. The method of forming the material having a shock absorbing capability is performed by sequentially coating the adhesive agent and utilizing a heating roller to the first substrate layer made of cloth, the second substrate layer made of SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), and the third substrate layer made of natural or artificial leather all together. Because the second substrate layer of the material having a shock absorbing capability is made of SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), which has good shock absorbing and impact buffering effects, the embodiment materials shock absorbing may be utilized in various protective products.

  • Publication number: 20040214027
Abstract: A method for manufacturing laminated leather and manufactured products thereof. First, an oil-based adhesive is applied on the bottom end of the shock-proofing material of the middle layer. Next, the shock-proofing material in the middle layer and the cloth material in the bottom layer will be heated for adhesive bonding at a temperature between 120 and 140 degrees using an upper roller of a roller set for adhesive bonding. Then, a first round of roll pressing for gradual adhesion will be done for 7 to 10 seconds to form a conjoined piece. Further, the oil-based adhesive is applied on the surface of shock-proofing material of middle layer of the conjoined piece. Finally, the middle layer of the conjoined piece and the skin layer on the upper layer will be done a second round of roll pressing for adhesive bonding to form laminated leather.

  • Patent number: 6635474
Abstract: There are disclosed mammary gland tissue-specific expression systems using the promoter site for the &bgr;-casein gene of Korean native goats, by use of which physiological activating substances can be produced. In each of the expression systems, that is, novel plasmids pGbc, pGbc_L and pGbc_S (deposition Nos. KCTC 0515BP, 0514BP and 0513BP, respectively), a &bgr;-casein gene expression-regulating region, a physiological activating substance gene and a termination-regulating region are linked. Human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (hG-CSF) or human granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (hGM-CSF) can be produced in HC11 cells, a mouse mammary gland tissue-derived cell line, and in the milk secreted from the transgenic mice by use of a hG-CSF or hGM-CSF gene-carrying pGbc, pGbc_L or pGbc_S in transfection into cell and microinjection to mouse. The proteins are those which experience the posttranslational modification and maintain their normal activity in the human body.
